The new Avatar Aang The Last Air Bender movie was a blast! Also fun to revisit the world and characters.

The environments of species affecting color. Freshwater being most saturated with pond, lake and river environments. On land tortoises being earthy tones to blend into dirt, rocks, and tall grass. Cooler soft palettes with the sea with darker shades on top (to look like the deeper sea when looking down on it) and lighter shades under them (looking like the sunlight surface of the water when looking up at it) depending on what angle a fish is looking at it from. And how to adapt that animal to fit with the redesign of each character. Hopefully I did an OK job. But overall, it was fun to stretch my brain a bit.

Are there any Monster Lover conventions?? This question haunts me!

Yonkers is the spy of the team. Goofy, nerdy, and artistic. They take care of a group of pigeons on top of their roof, using them as messengers, comfort animals, and occasionally, food. They like to listen to late 80's early 90's pop, Korean and Japanese pop, and whale noises. They like to make random art pieces around urban spaces to surprise people. Like collecting used gum to make a mural on a wall. Or gluing molted pigeon feathers onto a park bench. They also like to come up with goofy games for the three of them to play together. Like shopping cart racing and traffic cone hand battles. The three of them make a small family, living in an abandoned church, and scaring the living shit out of criminals nearby. These three live rent free in my head and I have fun with them 💚

The amount of dissing on pizza in both "Biker Mice from Mars" and "Street Sharks" is hilarious to me. "No No, we're not like the Ninja Turtles. We think pizza is gross!" Mikey has words for you punks 🤣

Kept seeing this trend in shows I like, and as a veteran ATLA fan I kept thinking "Ah yes, he's the Zuko of this fandom." Zuko, like Helen of Troy, his face launched a thousand ships.

Red flags to look out for: -they want to lead you to a site outside the one they contact you in. -they are vague about information. -not pertaining to this particular scam, but for some reason they always want you to direct message them and not the other way around. A big common red flag for me is when a scammer doesn't message me but instead puts down a comment saying "direct message me, OWO" Seriously, scams are annoying and no joke.
