My Bro's Got A Date!
So, I have some big news. My adopted bro Tadashi Hamada announced that he's going to introduce his new girlfriend at the next family gathering. Anybody wanna guess who she could be?

Best or worst way to attend a work happy hour?
Arrive 1 hr after scheduled start time, as actual nice/cool colleagues are leaving. Awkwardly/insecurely chat with people you should/want to know while downing a beer in 30 mins flat and forgetting to check out the free food you originally came for. Accept boss's random embrace. Leave abruptly and realize you are drunk 30 mins after arrival.

Umm... So I maybe spent some time today randomly writing a Holtzmann/Star Trek TNG crossover fic. Holtz's ghost trap accidentally sends her to the Enterprise (not Michigan) and LaForge gets stuck being her caretaker/tour guide until they can figure out how to send her back. So far it's just 7 chapters of Holtzmann messing with the Enterprise crew and geeking out over 24th century tech. This is the epitome of me fandom nerding out.
silicon valley justice
Any defense of Gawker falls on deaf ears to most of Silicon Valley. It doesn’t matter how much incredible work they have done, they will point, hysterically, to a handful of articles that they believe cross their line. They will misconstrue the intentions of Gawker as literal ‘evil’ while they take the intentions of Zuckerberg at his word. (How many thousands of people have been outed on Facebook or bullied to the point of self destruction?)
It’s fine to disagree with Gawker. They certainly have screwed up sometimes, but there’s a reason we made freedom of the press, the first amendment. Why can’t Silicon Valley counter speech with speech? Why do you need to use a proxy lawsuit? Many legal experts predict that Gawker will win the Hulk Hogan case on appeal but it won’t even matter because fighting the lawsuit took so much money that it bankrupted the company. This is Silicon Valley justice?

Phandom ship name suggestion
So you know how Danny/Tucker is called Savant Par or Meat Trail? I was thinking maybe calling Tech Geeks. Tech is Tucker while Geek being Danny.
