Lisha Jann ๏ Hacker/Coding Expert ๏ OPEN
People always joked that Alisha Weber was born with an android brain and a human body — she was always fooling around with computers, and taught herself how to code at a very, very young age. Soon enough, that became her life; it was almost as though she saw the world in code. But with both of her parents losing their jobs, and consequently their home, it was impossible for them to send Lisha to school. The family managed, and Alisha did what she could, eventually turning to hacking to make extra money. Word soon spread and people came to her with various offers, and her confidence grew. So when she was approached by a human from another district and was asked to hack into the Kryten Lab to steal the design blueprints, she easily agreed, assuming it would just be another easy job. However, due to the unexpectedly intricate security system at the designing lab, she was tracked down, arrested and promptly sent to prison.
Four years later, Alisha’s been now released from prison, and she’s a little lost. She’s lost touch with her parents, unsure if they’d even want to see her after all that’s happened. That being said, she’s determined to build herself back up from ground zero, and has recently started to work as a hacker again under the name Lisha Jann. Lisha doesn’t work for anyone else’s interests but her own — not anymore, anyway. Call it self-preservation, but she’s learned her lesson and she’s become extremely selective about her client. So far, it’s been fairly easy — people asking her to hack into their partners’ devices to see if they’re cheating, CEOs looking to find dirt on their rival companies…and so far, that’s all right. After all, the last thing Lisha wants is to go back to prison. (But even she has to admit that if someone would give her a chance, she could do so much more.)
Beau 201 — Her best friend and her dealer. Although Dash is officially the distributor and Beau is the manufacturer, Lisha prefers to her her drugs from Beau, only because they’re very similar to each other. More often than not, she’s at their place, doing her ‘work’ while Beau cooks.
Kiara Corwyn — On one hand, Lisha knows Kiara was just doing her job, but it doesn’t change the fact that the woman put her in prison,for an unnecessarily long period of time. She isn’t necessarily holding a grudge, but if she gets the chance, she’d like to make Kiara suffer. Just a little bit.
Tobias Foxwell — Lisha can’t help but feel a strange sense of rivalry towards the so-called golden boy. His company and his security system, after all, was what indirectly put her away, and he’s globally known to be the master of android coding. But she thinks she could do better, and someday, she’ll prove it.
