See, while I love GoW 2018, wee need to admit that this game was basically a movie game. The fighting was great, the mechanics fresh, but the amount of character development, back and side storied and cinematics make it basically a 30 to 40h long movie game. And in this one, they’ve put everything that they could and needed to put.

So with a game exploring the entirety of the story, and multiple way to experience this story, some of them being free (let’s plays and walkthroughs), what use would a series based on the exact story would be ? None, that’s what.

But Asura? Dipshit. Stupid motherfucker. He knows nothing except punch and hit and yell and grow arms and love daughter. He's had his memory wiped and his actions before and after regaining his memory are the exact same. He literally screams and dies around the whole game he just sorta redirects his anger at more and more powerful beings until he dies. A plot point is his brother in law trying to reason with him before he gives up and kills Asura again. He technically was a "general" but he led armies only in the sense that he ran in front of them to the fight.

ITS ALSO ALWAYS THE ONES WHO HAVE HURT ATREUS WHAT????

Baldur became crazy, both from Freya's curse and Odin's influence over him. He was an incredibly powerful guy, which is why Kratos had to do so much just to get him to chill out and stop fighting. Kratos was also ready to let him go, but Baldur forfeited that by being unable to let go of his rage. To him, to let go of the rage meant to forgive, and he could never do that. He had to kill his mother or die trying. And Kratos would not let another child of god kill their parent.

Meanwhile HEIMDALL, is in a different situations. Because of his power to read people and the fact that he was given such high position, he gain a weird sort of superiority complex where he his overzealous over one person (Odin) and see anyone else as trash (even Thor and possibly Baldur). This kind of battiness is less forgivable (at least in my opinion) but Kratos still tried to and was gonna let him go. But not only Heimdall threw a fit about that, he even announced clearly, to the first person that hit him in 'who knows how long', to the guy that just gave him a proper beating and speared his arm to the wall, that he was gonna kill his son. Even is you ignore all of the things that Heimdall did before, that alone is enough to deserve a proper finish.

1) Quaquaval is one of my favorite design of this gen and I was really waiting to see what Lark was going to do with it

2) Lark is always tge one that barely get any screen time. I thought that having him as a starter would fix it, but then this.
