My DVD of Sherlock Hound - The Complete Series arrived today!

I’m so happy!

And it also includes a little booklet with information about the series and most of the preparatory drawing (which I reproduce here).

I loved this anime as a child, and keep loving it today (as you have probably realized by now…). It’s not only that it sustained my holmesian craving through the long years of my childhood and adolescence when other kind of adaptations were remarcably scarce in TV and cinema. It’s also that, in its own way, exalted Holmes’ kinder, more human side (without loosing any of his unflappable attitude), which IS present in the Canon, but is quite often lacking in adaptations or pastiches.

Watch out when you give bread to a pigeon, the others are not so far away  x)

This time I tried something classical so I used the “Can Can” of  Offenbach and was inspired to animate the French Can Can as well =D (not only because I’m french bien sûr àUà ! )

Hope you will like this, took looot of hours to make but it was really fun as always !
