Thanks for the tag @fadetouchedlurker ! I've seen this tag game going around with both Dragon Age and BG3, so I'll do both since I love both!
š¹ WHATāS A SMALL DETAIL THAT YOU ALWAYS NOTICE AND LOVE?
DA: The Nug King cutscene! Omg it's the most adorable, hilarious thing ever. *Squeaks deferentially.* I love nugs so much.
BG3: I love Gale's constant irl literary references. I actually had Tim Downie write 'a rough tempest I will raise' on the art I had him sign several months ago! The Tempest is one of my fav Shakespeare plays (partially because I acted in it) and the fact that this line is a mishmash of two Tempest quotes is so cool. We've also got 'what fools these mortals be' (midsummer night's dream), 'seek and you shall find me' (the Bible), and more.
š¹ WHATāS ONE PIECE OF REFERENCE MATERIAL YOUāRE CURRENTLY OBSESSED WITH?
Honestly, just vintage art, magazine drawings, clipart, etc. in general. Also, classic movie frames and quotes. Here's some of my recent references and the pictures I made based off of them. First gal is my Hero of Ferelden, Fjola, and second guy is my Tav, Orien.
š¹ SHARE A SNIPPET OR VISUAL FROM YOUR CURRENT PROJECT THAT YOUāRE QUIETLY PROUD OF.
I've recently returned to my BG3 post canon fic-- it's a pirate adventure story inspired by Treasure Island and features many of the main companions (Halsin, Wyll, Karlach, Shadowheart, Astarion, and Gale), plus my Tav, his family, and his parrot (Scupper). It's one of the few stories I actually feel 100% comfortable writing in first person POV and I've been very happy with it so far. I wanted it to have a classic, fantastical feel. Anyway, here is a snippet (tw ableism):
"Frigate!" I exclaimed. "You're mariners! SelĆ»ne be praised for whatever fortune led you here. Anyway, I am not one for preamble. My crew and I need to get to Raven's Bluffā¦ and, if that does happen to be somewhere along your route, you lot seem like a fine group of gentlepeople to bring us there."
Aelar let out a barking laugh. "And, pray tellā why should we care to ferry a hamstrung tiefling, a pallid dandy, and their other motley friends to Raven's Bluff?"
"I prefer to think of myself as less pallid and more as alabaster-complexioned, darling," said Astarion. "But, concerning the topic of why you ought to care to ferry usā¦ Orien, love, shall we show this fine captain our wares?"
"Wares, you say?" Aelar asked.
I rooted in my knapsack, procuring my coinpurse and giving it a hefty shake. "500 gold," I said. "All that, just to let a mere six gentlepeople accompany you for but four fortnights? What a bargain. In fact, I may be of some use to you on the ship. I used to be a mariner myself, you know."
Scupper began to speak. "Pieces ofā"
"Shut up," I cut him off.
"Clearly such a life did not suit you," laughed Aelar, earning a hearty roar of laughter from the rest of his companions. "What shall we do with a crippled, blind sailor? Set him to work as a swab? Little Silas does a fine job of that already." He gestured to one of his three companions. I could scarcely see Silas save the tan blur that was his face and body, but as I listened to the laugh that drifted from his mouth and mingled with that of the rest of the company, it was clear that the boy could not have been more than a mere teenager.
"Sorry, son," said Aelar, swiftly swiping the gold from my hand before starting toward the exit. "We ought toā" In the time it took him to say those three words, Astarion was beside Aelar, his chin grazing his shoulder and a dagger brandished at his throat.
"Ah," said Astarion. "Careful, my friend. Here are our terms and conditions, as it wereā we will give you 250 gold, and then, after you ferry us to Raven's Bluff, we will give you the remaining 250. You shall not try us, test us, or slit our throats in our sleep, and we shall do the same to you.

š¹ WHATāS SOMETHING YOUāRE LOOKING FORWARD TO CREATING OR FINISHING SOON?
I ordered two Lucanis statues from Moonlit Panic and am SO excited to paint them. I even brought two new cans of spray primer just for the occasion (because I've been stubbornly refusing to buy an airbrush for the past 1.5 years that I've been painting models lmao).
I also bought a custom STL of my inquisitor, IlmarĆ«, and his nug (Biscuit), from Angel E. Luna. Once I get my resin printer fixed, I'll be printing and painting the rest of him! Gotta love the fact that my LCD screen broke right in the middle of an STL I spent hundreds of dollars on š
š¹ WHATāS A FUN OR SILLY TRADITION YOU HAVE WITH YOUR OCs?
I love making scrapbooks for my OCs. It's so much more fun than regular junk journaling or documenting my life imo.
š¹ WHATāS AN NPC YOUāD LOVE TO SEE IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT OUTFIT OR SETTING?
BG3: I'd love to see Astarion in cyberpunk clothes, along with cyberware that feels fitting for him. I'm working on a Cyberpunk AU for him with a friend at the moment and am gonna make him an NPV soon-- super excited about that.
Dragon Age: I'd also love to see Solas as a Cyberpunk 2077 netrunner. He'd look so sleek.
š¹ WHAT IS A COLLAB PROJECT THAT YOU WOULD WANT TO DO?
Honestly I'm always open to art trades! Just shoot me a DM if anyone wants to do one, the only time I'd ever say no is if I already have a lot on my plate (in which case I'd probably just ask if we could hold off till a later date rather than flat out refusing). But, as of now, I'm not too busy and would love to do a trade with somebody!
š¹ WHATāS A TINY HEADCANON OR DETAIL YOUāVE ADDED TO YOUR OC THAT BRINGS YOU JOY?
BG3: Orien has a peg leg, just like Long John Silver and Patchy the Pirate! I'm going to be commissioning a peg leg for tiefling body type 2 soon and I'm so excited to be able to actually get his peg into the game! I also try to incorporate his struggles with being an amputee into my personal headcanon because I feel like a lot of pirate media doesn't focus on the fact that it's literally a disability, so I'm trying to show the ableism and struggles that he faces.
Dragon Age: As I mentioned before, Ilmarƫ (my inky) has a pet nug named Biscuit! Second pic is by @ruxandralache. Biscuit is chubby, loves to play fetch, and he loves wearing sweaters that Ilmarƫ hand-knits for him.
