ok, unfortunately your post reignited my vtm braincells. imo, solas would be a brujah - they're known for both angry rabble rousing rebellion stuff, and being really philosophical and smart. i think in a vtm au, he would've been mythal's very loyal ghoul prior to her embracing him as a vampire, and then he managed to break out from that and rebel. i think the equivalent to him removing the vallaslin would be removing blood bonds entirely, which makes him able to break free from mythal + popular among the younger downtrodden lackey vampires and ghouls, but a hated threat to the older vampires.

unfortunately that makes mythal also a brujah, which is a bit bland and i don't know if it fits her as well? personally i would go with toreador just for the Blindingly Charismatic Personality vibes... she could also be a gangrel bc of the dragon transformation? elgar'nan is obviously very ventrue coded. andruil could be a gangrel or lasombra i think. sylaise and june seem more toreador or maybe tremere? ghilan'nain is a tzimisce. dirthamen and falon'din are already so goth that i don't even know what vampire genre they should be.

brujah was my second pick for him! :D

gangrel seemed fitting for the dread wolf reasons. plus my first association with this clan is beckett who's also philosophical and smart. however he's probably not the most typical representative of the clan. gangrel would also make sense if mythal is one as well.

as for dirthamen and falon'din, maybe nosferatu and hecata? dirthamen's whole deal is secrets and falon'din is all about death
