Here are some of my headcanons for him:

♡ I see him as half Scottish and Canadian (the canadian part i got from the OPP badge on his Sgt. Pepper suit)

♡ He probably has terrible eyesight due to how he didn't wear glasses, specifically nearsighted (sort of like John, but not as severe), sometimes he just steals John's glasses ( 3_3)

♡ Billy has ambidexterity, aka the natural ability to use both hands with an equal amount of dominance

♡really doesn't like looking at mirrors (*´-`)

General Info/Concepts:

imma keep this one short today, cause I don't really have new ideas

I have come up with a different name idea for the restaurant: Sgt Peppers Magical Musical (I feel like this name makes more sense (also I just wanted an excuse for using 'Magical' in the title)

I'll update the logos from the previous post so dont worry about what it says if you voted already,

Either way, the abbreviation would be the same, SPMM au, short for the restaurant's name because there isn't really anything else to name it after now is there?

Arcade:

I know this is supposed to be a family entertainment place, and most of these at the time had arcades in them, it's sort of a staplement to have one, it wont really be the same without it.

I was planning to use real beatles arcade machines, but there was one problem with that...

There are literally all pinball machines.

I mean they do all look really Kool with them probably fitting right in anyways, and I'd totally use these if I saw them in real life, but just having these in a kids arcade and nothing else would be pretty boring

I mean, I did find one actual arcade machine here:

although this one one does have a really beautiful themeing I could only find one of it's kind, and I don't even know where it came from (also the game on screen which is 'Virtua Fighter' (I think) and that came out around the 90s, so it wouldn't fit in)

So I guess I just have to think of some original ideas ×_×

I wanted to do some things related to sound and music-based games, and the first thing I thought of was rhythm games!!

I could do something like those Guitar Hero or drummania arcade version games until I realized... these would also not fit in because both games were also invented in the 90's

also rythem games were more or less popular culture in Japan rather then America, which is presumably were the this restruant will be due to how this genre of place originated there (although it's specifically location I'm not sure yet)

But then this idea came to me. A genius idea!! A completely original idea that had never been done before:

ok, joke aside, nomatter how ridiculous this looks, this was a real practice to reskin and paint over acrade machines in the entertainment district.

While yes, it looks really lazy, realistically speaking, this probably would happen, especially with how getting a custom game specifically for a single purpose isn't exactly a smart idea financially, let alone multiple.

while I don't intend for them to look that bad, they will just be real existing games with some little differences to stay on brand

(Ps I would make more but this actually was really hard to make cuz i wanted to keep the color, so... umm there's only one, hope thats alright @_@*):

Yellow Submarine Play Place (i need to think of a better name but I'll worry later):

Woah, TWO yellow submarine things in one post (yeah, I just happen to think of this mid-writing, so I just HAD to add it)

This was more or less a concept idea but I'll work on my vision more later on too,

Basically this is one of those indoor playgrounds in the restaurant, and i thought using using the yellow submarine theme would work because the movie has all these colours and I just looks like it could fit in

i feel like when ringo isnt on stage, he'd be here

Bonus: I found this really neat yellow submarine instrumental, and I feel like it would fit in with the vibe im looking for the place, especially the trumpet bit (click here cuz it won't pop up when I try adding it with Spotify-_-)

I feel like it would be pretty easy to make these so I bet you could find something like this around the restaurant for some photos

(for the taller ones there would be stools on the back to make is accessible)

Penny Lane Presses (yeah I'm so smart right gang):

Penny presses are a pretty commen thing in amusement places, and their doesn't have to be a specific theme, it can be anything, so it would make sense to see these around

I'm not sure about the designs on these, but it's probably just the animatronics, the logo, and the small design seen ok the tokens

so theres the update, this part is more or less just setting and background info rather then the actual story or lore, hope y'all like it

General info/concepts:I'm confirming that Brian eppy is gonna be the general manager of the district

I also most likely gonna make George Martin the one of the engineers who helped create the animatronics, i thought that might work with him being a producer in real life

Aside from charecters, I've made mock up photos for the stage including colored photos + height accurate solo photos of the animatronics [and ringo!]. (Might I add that I'm not planning to make many of theses often. Creating the monotone photos are hard already, let alone with color =_=, i hope thats understandable)

I've also been thinking a name idea for this au/restaurant:

Sgt. Pepper’s Musical Mirage (Mirage as in something out of the ordinary cause this whole place has this psychedelic, daydream vibe im looking for (also a metaphor if you stretch it a bit more))

Although I must admit I'm not exactly 100% sure with the Mirage part, I'm still looking for a better word that begins with 'M'

Preformance:

For preformances, it might take some inspiration from the beatle cartoons with one of the cast members introducing the song along with Paul up on a different, separate part of the stage.

I also plan to include real beatles song cuz I mean if I made a beatles au where their show animatronics and DIDN'T do that what's the point?

General information/ideas/concepts:

I'm still thinking of some name to call this au, probably something with pepperland in the title for obvious reasons to say the least

I also made a photomock up for the stage of what the performance will look like:

(if you recognize where the background for the stage came from you know ball)

I'm considering to also include more people associated with the Beatles like Brian Eppy, Pete Best, George Martin, and Geoff Emerick, although admittedly I need to do a bit more research about them if I plan to develop full charecters for most of them (besides Brian, I know him pretty well)

All I know is that I plan for Brian to be the general manager of the place, which is basically all I have for that

The animatronics:

John:

John was the first member to be built for this resturant, but due to this, his code stays a little outdated compared to other models like Paul and even George at times.

His prototype was created with the intent of being as human as possible at first, but with the limits of the time period, test runs of his model were deemed 'too scary for kids' when mixed with his janky movement

At first they considered replacing him all together, but to save on costs and time, his model was just given more code to try and 'mask' his older version

One of these new characteristics was that his system would be built to gain attention, to be a real eye opener, his performances along with himself are ones not to forget! However, if not given attenction as needed (ie not hearing the audience cheering, no reactions to his voicelines), the following may happen:

-staring for long periods of time

-repeat lines continuously

-standing still during performances

While there isn't a way to prevent this, for its built into his code, clapping, cheering, or saying his name can quickly get him working back up again.. usaully

John's roaming is also a bit wacky, while his pathway it quick simple, a walk around the perimeter of the room, when an obstacle like moved furniture or people are blocking his sensors, he may stray from his pathway. Some reports state finding him in places like the bathroom or even into employee only rooms.

This is a simple glitch due to his system being the oldest, redirecting back to him path is easier said then done.

If he doesn't leave when directed to, try again. Last resorts are to power him down and with the help of two or more (if necessary) employees, carry him out.

It so not suggested to do this, as stated, it is a last resort, for powering him back may take up to 10 minutes to turn on, and he'd often stuck in his older prototype code while walking around for about a minute or so, most notably not blinking with wide , twiching, eyes nor is he smiling, he doesn't even stand probably. Due to how his system is still powering up, hes seens to have this 'slouch look' when walking due to his power not fully on, it makes him look somewhat upset even. Employees often joking around saying stuff like 'he's on a trip with Lucy again, isn't he'.

To be noted aside from this on its own is that John commonly mocks Paul for being a 'Puppet for Brian', a quick line to break the four wall, but the truth is, John is just as desperate to please management as Paul is. He just does it through defiance, his code is made to be under to rule that: if he is loud, gives a well done preformance, they won't dare turn him off and replace him again.

Paul:

Paul, while having a more updated version comaperd to John's code, he does have his own glitches

Besides to ones mention in the earlier entries, Paul has a tendency to act differently based on the situation

This can most commonly be seen when John has been recently reseted or just isn't exactly 'himself'. He is able to detect this with his cameras when around John during roaming time, although this is not on a built in feature, this is cited as a glitch of his for assumed hes accidently detecting John as a child in his system.

All of them have this feature to act more cheerful and interact more with children with detecting them in negative moods. So Paul sometimes can be seen around John with his 'trips' trying to 'fix' him up, telling him things as if he were any other child in the resturant.

Outside of his glitches though, out of each animatronic, Paul is the one to say most consistent with his interactions with the guest. He is rarely seen not acting himself, his code makes him act like this 24/7, he is always in charecter, no matter the condition, he will never be seen negative.

However this has the flaw of occasional using the same quotes when having small talk like:

-[after comforting a child] "It was no big deal, anyone could have done it, I was just right there at the right time"

-"If I can do it, it is not that big of an accomplishment... so keep dreaming kiddo!"

Ect.

(Sorry this one doesn't have a photo bash and is a bit shorter, I didn't really have many ideas on me when writing it ><)

George:

With George not really being the concern of Paul or John, he usaully is by himself when roaming, which is ironic because when preforming it is mandatory for his placement to be close to either of them and not too far apart.

Although, seeing him roaming is a sight of itself. Usaully after a preformance, George is just turned off instead of being taken off stage. With his legs being attached to the base and with him and being quite hard to maintain, for a long while he wasn't seen walking around like John or Paul

However, some staff have found that having him around helped make it feel less lonely, for with him having less voicelines, he doesn't really talk too much, not that he'd want to really

George's code wasn't given the same extent of attenction seeking the others had, whether this is on purpose or not is unknown, so the staff began to have him around to talk to.

This habit began with the night shift staff who would occasionally turn on the animatonics on while deep cleaning to hear something at work. Eventually they found out that with the sound sensors, they could interact with the animatronics, and with most of them being teens or adults, George would grow on them with him being more serious and quiet

Sometimes during these times, the staff would deep clean his body while talking just to find something to do to coninue the conversation, he did need it anyways because of how his suit is attached to his body.

Staff can often be found walking around George during work hours, but when asked about it, they just say it's mandatory, although this is true. It's necessary due to him being underdeveloped and sometimes needing help to walk, so they aren't really wrong.

The animatronics aren't coded to remember anything, however, they can 'adapt' the more commands they are told, especially if these are told frequently, and with George having many of these conversations on many occasions, work hours or not, he's...

never really forgotten.

Ringo:

Ringo is one of the workers who started to turn on the animatonics at night, although he cares for all of them deeply.

He found that during the after-hours, it was like he was just in this little world with the animatronics.

Ringo secertly didn't really like being up and active in the resturant, not that he didn't like it, he found it quite fun really, but having to maintain the preformance was a bit much for him.

He can get quite fidgety when pulling the curtains open or even talking to the kids. He hopes to become a more sociable person and grow to become more active in other people's lives but sometimes he just..

needs some time alone.

Sometimes he'd just watch the kids playing in the arcade as a pastime (please don't interpret this weirdly >_< I mean this in a strong platonic way).

as other pastimes to get his mind off his preformance anxiety, he can usaully be found cleaning. While he isn't a janitor, he just finds cleaning comforting, partly why he stays over night to help.

He views the animatronics as humans [metaphorically speaking] and finds comfort with being around them, for he had a bit of a hard time growing connection with people outside his job although he yearns for their connection.

(As of course, I'm still developing him as a charecter and with him being human, it does give me some restrictions, but I'll add on soon)

ok before I coninue, I wanna explain my vision

How I see this au working is that the animationic versions of the beatles would be more or less of their mischaracterized version seen from the press and public eye mixed along with a bit of their personas (ie how John was seen as this snarky and rebellious 'tough guy' exterior and nothing else) all because I want to add some symbolism to this au to at least hold it together a bit more than 'scary beatle animatronic'

This au probably takes place in around probably the late 70s or early 80s after the beatles breakup with the idea being to engrave their legacy of rock n roll into the newer generations (like that cancelled yellow submarine movie or sm)

(I haven't exactly made up my mind)

Im also not 100% sure if the beatles did existed in this universe and would therefore be the inspiration for the resturant, or if these versions of them are 'the beatles' if that makes sense

The animatronics:

John:

"The real renegade with a heart of gold, welcome to the stage the one and only... John Lennon!"

The leader and one of two guitarist, John is the main attraction in the show, or at least he's supposed to be.

being a bit taller the others to help make him stand out more, he also has a slight louder voice box to bring his voice across the stage better

His voice lines in question are often witty and even a bit rude. He has this ability to listen onto members of the audience and repeat what they say, but it's a bit faulty cause sometimes he might accidently hear onto random conversations and repeat them

His articulation is also the more varied of them all, letting him make alot of expressions and movements, but this over time made the joints a little loose, essentially at the neck and arms so their crooked sometimes when on-stage

John has this habit of playing along with the guest in the restaurant, challenging them to the limit at games and tricks he does when roaming

Paul:

"The real heartthrob with the million-dollar smile, welcome to the stage the one and only... Paul McCartney!"

The basist of the group, although the only one, he does have many other roles in the group.

He helps keep an eye on everything happening in the band and around, literally - he has cameras build into his eyes that sort of make him a security camera.

While all members have a built in sensor to interact with the audience, Paul specially has the cameras with give his pupils that little glow in them.

His features are a bit... rusty when compared to the others... Especially his eyes, he just has this permanent lazy eye that is shifted to his right all the time. His eyes are also the most prone to getting the eyelids stuck giving him this wide eye look sometimes

He has more soft toned 'charming' comments compared to John. While making less movements to John, he evens it out by being the one to talk the most and often giving commentary on everything

His mouth is sort of stuck in this smile look due to rust building up in the joints preventing it to move as much is it could before.

George:

"The real man of mystery, keeping it cool in the shadows, welcome to the stage the one and only... George Harrsion!"

The other guitarist, George is probably one of the most 'normal' looking one (ignoring his lazy eye), so one would assume he's been kept in good maintenance, right..?

George's body is the most underdeveloped modles, although still functional and practicly works the same as the others, he has many flaws that make him 'inferior' to Paul and John.

First of all, he has less voice lines then the other two, while having simple small talk responses, he doesn't really give of the much charecter, even though his voice works and even to a degree, clearer, then theirs.

Secondly, some parts of his body aren't finished. Paul and John's body's are able to pull up their sleeves and even change their outfits if needed (ie a stain or damage),

however, George's uniform is attached to his body, his sleeves aren't removable because under it, his 'skeleton' was never completely finished, so they just covered it up.

As one more note, George is the only animatronic unable to come off stage by himself. While yes, the others need assistance to come off, George literally has no option because his legs are bolted onto a circular platfrom on the stage, and he'll need an employee to manually remove him from the base.

Extra informations about the animatronics:

All three animatronic are able to interact with the guest using sound sensors in specific spots where they will be able to detect the voices of people.

A usaul shows will last 25-30 minutes around every 1 hour or so.

Paul and John will be singing the songs, George doesn't have mouth movement built in that would allow him to give the same performance experience...

now you're probably wondering where's ringo in this au, and don't worry he's not dead or sm

Actually, he's the only human charecter in the story!!

Ringo, known also as Mr.Billy Shears:

Ringo works as one of the employees, a cast member really.

He helps with running the show and keeping the audiences attention, making sure the experience as it should be and everybody is enjoying the show. View him as a cheerleader of sorts.

He has this sort of 'happy-go-lucky' vibe with him during his work hours and he is no different when after.

But, Ringo really does overworks himself sometimes, even staying after hours to help with maintenance on occasion. Sometimes he doubts himself on how well of an employee he is, so he trys his best to live to his standards.

Ringo is the one who has to unbolt George from his platform usaully

(Also I thought I would be cute if he had a little habit of finger drumming on counter, just to put it out there)
