Drinks are two hundred percent more fun when you have a straw. Even more so when said straw is a funky shape. They probably make drinks taste better too. Milkshakes just wouldn’t be the same without a straw.

I don’t wanna say I have favorites, exactly, but I am so attached to the dogs at the animal clinic. I would lay down my life for them.

You know you can’t bring them all home with you, right? As great as that would be, I don’t think Kreagan would be too thrilled at you taking all their dogs. We should definitely get some though. You know, when we finally manage to get that place together.

Something’s not quite right

Hannah never set fire to her childhood home, never killed all those innocent people, never became Lexi. In fact, she’s a sweetheart.

Hannah McKenna grew up in Kreagan Valley with her exceptionally large family- a younger brother and sister, two older brothers and one older sister- in a beautiful house on the outskirts of the town. It was never a dull moment in that house and even now, with the four oldest out there living their own lives and her little brother off to college, it was never quiet. Ingrid and Hannah had always been close, but now being the last two siblings in the house it had brought them even closer. Hannah adored Ingrid and, frankly, she spoiled the girl. The would go shopping together, study together, talk about boys, fix each other’s problems- sometimes with a threat or two directed at the opposing party. They were more than sisters; they were best friends.

Hannah had studied forensic science at Yale University and, upon graduating from her course, she was accepted into their masters degree programme for fire investigation. Honestly, Hannah is a little obsessed with fire. Not in a ‘probably going to commit arson’ kind of way, but it fascinates her. The way it moves, how it spreads. How a tiny piece of trace evidence can determine the difference between intentional and accidental fires. Hannah loves her classes, and she loves her part time job working at the reception desk in the police and fire station, but if there’s one thing she loves more than her possible future career, it’s Drake Grayson.

Hannah fell hard and fast for Drake and it wasn’t long before they were being considered one of Kreagan Valley’s cutest couples. But still, despite this beautiful distraction, Hannah is still set on having her perfect life. She’ll graduate at the top of her class, find the right job close by so she can stay near her family, and hopefully become Mrs Drake Grayson. Her kids will be town treasures just like her and everyone will live happily ever after. This is one little ray of sunshine that refuses to let anything stand in her way.

                Um... It’s just glitter? Why is everyone so obsessed with this stuff? I’m going to be washing it out of everything I own for months!

I love cheerleading.

I love New Haven. I love all these people. Small deduction points for the ‘U.G.L.Y’ Daphne and Celeste throwback on the bus but I’ll forgive it. Competition looks delicious this year.

Here’s hoping everyone makes it to the mat.

Oh... Is that what they were singing? It was catchy, I suppose, but I really wasn’t expecting any singing. Delicious isn’t really the word I would use. Terrifying, maybe.

Well you can’t just let them disrespect you and our school like that. You have to just show them that throwing up before a competition is both disgusting, out of this era, and not going to help them win on or off the mat. 

Or I can just sit here and focus on my own team. I’m not getting caught up in this bitchy, war-face thing...

Let me guess, they were in a blue and white uniform? You should watch out for those pearly white, too bright smiles because they actually mask pure evil. The lower the ponytail, the closer to… Well.

Don’t worry though, it’s just the adrenaline. Everyone gets a little too sassy at these things. Just roll your eyes and flick your hair and if you wanna be really callous– point out how their nail shade so does not match their colours.

I’m assuming they’re like this every year? The closer to...? Hell? Satan? Is that where that was going? Honestly... I never knew being a cheerleader was going to be so stressful.

Golly gee. Are those nasty cheerleaders hurting your delicate little flower feelings, Elexis? Do you need me to inform an adult? Hold your hand? Offer a tissue? They’re scented.

One of the biggest parts of keeping it up, is keeping away from you and your sarcastic tone. Honestly, are you trying to blow my cover? Just get away from me, okay? I need to hydrate.
