Update on my Latin endeavors
So, as you all know, my school was shut down early summer. Well, my Latin teacher has moved all the way from our cozy little state of Ohio to sunny Arizona. We are all happy for him, as he got a new job, but it appeared that I would be Latinless. But minime! My Latin teacher is so freaking awesome that he is going to continue to help me venture through the Latin language over Skype. How seriously fantastic is that? Hip-hip eugepae!

Sad news.
Well, Guys, my high school where I take Latin has officially been closed. I don't know what I'm going to do about Latin at this point, but I'm really really worried, angry, sad, and disappointed. The freakin' elementary school principal is the one that has been making it her goal to shut the place down, and I guess she has gotten her wish. I hope she's happy. All high school students now have to find another school to enroll in, switch over their post secondary applications, and leave all the friends and teachers we love. But at least she doesn't have to deal with the fact that the high school, that a man she unfairly hates established, is flourishing any longer, cause that would've been horrible... Oh wait. Whatever, sometimes the bad guy wins I guess, but we just have to find a way to turn her evil deeds into something good. Wish us luck.

So yesterday was officially my last day of Latin for the school year, and I'm pretty bummed. Next year is going to be soooo different. So many people are doing full time College Credit Plus, and dropping Latin entirely. So it's going to be me, the kids who more often than not forget the difference between a tense and a case, and Mr. Schaffer. So we will see what happens. On the bright side I ended the year with a Latin grade of 103.1%! Hip-hip eugepae! Hopefully I can make time for Latin translation over the summer :)

The Locative is like the innocent guy that no one likes that a gang takes advantage of, ends up doing something for said gang to prove it's worth something, and then gets shot in the head by the gang after it does all their dirty work. Poor Locative.
