Vote blue. Don't vote third party. Don't not vote. Vote blue. Minorities are going to suffer and die under another Trump legislation. This isn't about who you want, this is about minimizing any possible damage that you can because we WILL NOT SURVIVE another four years with Republican majorities in every branch of the government.

I know my last post was Pennsylvania centric, but if you are 18+ years old and can vote, PLEASE do so. Especially if you’re in a swing state. We must defeat Trump. We must get covid under control. We must protect our most vulnerable populations, especially women, LGBT+, and POC. Vote PLEASE.

Heyyyy, so Amy Covid Barrett was just appointed to the Supreme Court. This means that the court will probably be pushing to keep Trump in power if there is any ambiguity in the election. Please, please vote. We need a landslide victory against Trump. Please vote for Biden, not because he’s perfect, but because have you looked around? The country is literally on fire, a pandemic is killing hundreds of thousands of people and the government is officially doing nothing. I’m not going to argue that Biden is great, but I am going to beg you to vote for him anyway because I don’t want more people to die who don’t have to.

she didn’t lose her internship because “her friends” used a hashtag, she lost it because a bunch of 4chan fuckers found out she’s trans and decided to doxx her and harass her employer about the ~image~ she was sending. like this wasn’t her public face account, she wasn’t spouting racist garbage, she mistook someone in her mentions for one of the randos she gets regularly harassed by (because, yknow, if someone tweets “language” at you on twitter, 99.9% of the time they’re not actually concerned for you) and transphobes used the opportunity to fuck up her life. it’s great that hickam is behind her on this but a lot of people are sharing this and laughing at how hilarious it is that “a furry got fired for swearing”, which is the smokescreen being used to cover how this was doxxing a trans woman to ruin her potential career

this halloween season, please remember that nosferatu (1922) is an allegory for the ‘invasion’ of jewish immigrants. count orlok is an antisemitic caricature, and his image in the movie is quite literally responsible for anti-jewish nazi propaganda. the movie itself is about jews perversing and defiling western culture, assaulting gentile women, etc. etc. please, please don’t ignore the potent antisemitism in the movie.

just to emphasize: nosferatu directly impacted nazi propaganda. the editor of an antisemitic nazi newspaper watched nosferatu and was so struck by the image of count orlok that he based his anti-jewish cartoons off of him. nosferatu is LITERALLY responsible for a good portion of anti-jewish caricatures.
