Looking at glow-in-the-dark stars on my ceiling, but they seem to fade when directly glanced at 🌙

Halsey bringing back Is There Somewhere as an ode to the original Badlands tour feels incredibly special, especially for those of us who weren’t there to see it the first time. Back in 2014 and 2015, that song meant so much to the people who started the Room 93 journey with them. Now, hearing it again in 2025 gives newer fans a chance to create their own memories associated with the song. The fact that Halsey still goes into the crowd and plays small venues, even with how big they’ve become, says so much about who they are as an artist. The Back to Badlands tour feels like more than just a throwback. The tour remains a reminder of how far she's come, and how much love still connects her fans to those early days. I’m truly just so grateful we get to feel a piece of that ✨magic✨for the first time (or however many times :) )

going through the badlands archive for anniversary celebrations and found these New Americana stills from some set ups that didn’t make the final vid. I love the whiplash of moods lol little baby.

"...I made it seem like it wasn't that bad or wasn't that big of a deal, but I was fucking terrified and it was really hard and every single day that I spent in that terrible fucking place, every single day I wished that I was right here where I am right now..." - Halsey during talking break at 'For My Last Trick' Tour Alpharetta on May 22, 2025
I have no idea how to use this app but I'm hoping Halsey will see my thoughts on the tour 🤍
Halsey blew a kiss to a fan while performing 'I Never Loved You' at 'For My Last Trick' Tour Alpharetta on May 22, 2025.
Some thoughts about the FMLT Tour: Crafting a new setlist every night is relatable to how a chronic illness can take many forms and be dynamic. One day you're fine, the next day you can barely move. One day there's the For My Last Trick setlist, and another there's Dealer's Choice And other days there's both. Panic Attack leading into Graveyard leading into OLGILA is symbolic of something special. Having panic attacks about health, then dying because you mistook love for a panic attack. Getting caught in the arsonist's flames being the source of your "love" but really the pain. Then comes the funeral in OLGILA all stripped back. Just Halsey on stage with their guitar. Alone after they've "died". The arsonist killed off the version of Halsey they knew, so she resorted back to the Badlands version of herself where she can be a Hurricane, hence the blue wig. Free from the arsonist, they can now put on a "typical" Halsey show. No backup dancers to mimic their movements, just a sole performer in her element. The whole metaphor of "being forced to perform or tell the public private details" by society in a time where Halsey was dealing with cancer and lupus is really put into view here. Act II is primarily hit songs the crowds know. Here, she finds solitude in knowing the world will remember her name ("hope they spell my name right in the paper, in here lies the great impersonator" - TGI). The Great Impersonator is an album full of tricks and turns and twists nobody expects. Like Halsey's health scares, this tour is full of sadness and grief, but also the vibrancy of making it out alive and being able to perform. If you have not seen the tour yet, I urge you to come.
