Yes I'm late. It seems I always am. Why this time? I don't know. Cowardice? Not feeling like it'll make an impact? A combination of both, truthfully. I know I'm relatively new to this specific platform. I primarily just make silly videos on YouTube. But I have to say something regardless of how many people it'll reach.

Palestine is currently suffering a genocide. This is straight up 100% an undeniable fact. I will not argue with people about this. If you disagree, you are flat out motherfucking wrong. The catalyst for me finally talking about it on this quite small platform is the events of the last few days. While I usually don't give a shit about and don't pay attention to celebrity nonsense, my social media feeds have been full to the brim of that stupid fucking Met Gala while Rafah, the PLACE THAT PALESTINIANS WERE TOLD TO GO TO BE SAFE is now being invaded.

I'm not going to get into specifics. They're everywhere, and fucking gruesome. The IoF and the Israeli government are committing a genocide flat out. It is happening. Let me be -

The *Israeli Government* and it's supporters are to fault, NOT Jewish people as a whole. There are a LOT of shitlords trying to equate criticism of a government committing genocide with antisemitism.

Like I said, I just have a really small platform that I use to make silly videos about games or playing games with my friends. A part of why I haven't said anything is I felt it wouldn't reach anybody that doesn't already know.

But if I can make a post asking for people to fund a friend's gofundme, I can make a post begging people to at least think about this.

Over the past couple nights I've been seeing many content creators partner with Operation Olive Branch, and while I'm not nearly big enough to actually partner, I can still drop a link and talk about it.

OOB is a volunteer organization focused around getting the word out about what's going on and mutual aid to those affected (by affected I mean literally being killed). Go to the link, click through the info, read, pick a gofundme, and donate something. I have, and I will continue to. Literally anything. Even just a dollar, goes a long way.

A part of why I started my channel is because I want to build a community of like-minded, good hearted people in a space where there are a lot of assholes in an attempt to try to make the world a tiny bit better. But why wait? I, and consequently you, can make the world a tiny bit better through this. It's not that big a deal to me and you, at the end of the day we get to put our phones down and enjoy life. For them, this is *everything*.

Look, for me on a personal level, I like the game enough that I have no issue linking a PSN account. And it was on the Steam page from the start that linking would be required. But that's not the problem.

This sort of thing should not be mandatory. I can think of *incentives* for doing this (cross progression???) But making this mandatory is a huge fuckup. For one, there are many many countries that do NOT have PSN access, so anyone from those countries are effectively banned. For two, there are people that have privacy concerns given SONY's track record with hacks and infosec. And it's pretty damn clear the game does not need this. Crossplay has worked fine as far as I've seen, so the only reason this is happening is because SONY wants it to happen.

Personally I feel that's a non-issue, given *gestures at everything*, so what's one more tbh? (Especially people complaining about this on places like Discord) but hey there are people who are concerned about that and I suppose I commend that.

Vicious Mockery as a reaction.

I'm sure I'm not the first to come up with this, and my knowledge is limited to pretty much just Baldur's Gate 3, but I think this is funny.

So Vicious Mockery is just "you insult someone so hard they take actual damage", right?

Here's the idea: when an enemy within range makes an attack and fails their attack roll, or you save on a spell, you can cast Vicious Mockery as a reaction, but it *doesn't* impose disadvantage on the next attack and maybe it only does a d4.

This is only on direct attacks toward your PC though. Not others in your party
