Heyyy...sooo...when are you making a chapter six for your ao3 whizzvin story 🤗

OM! WELLLLL I'm actually rlly RLLY close to finishing the next chapter!! Frsies this time, I've got like 92% of it written and done. I literally just haven't had the time or energy AT ALL within my entire hiatus cuz life has been life-ing so hard tbh (eg. Summer work and my favourite volunteering gig last year. starting uni, GOT ADHD DIAGNOSED & MEDICATED FINALLY (still insane and adjusting)).

Also been crazy hyperfixated on Frankenstein (GDT 2025) since Halloween and have subsequently indulged in my true cinema arc at 210% (I've got issues) so it's been super difficult just diving back into such a passionate work like IAWYC w/o the right mindset 🥀🥀 AND! RLLY doesn't help that since starting uni, in which I'm studying creative writing, I just didn't like picking up where pre-uni me left off (tl: I couldn't stand my writing KFKKFD 💔).

BUT RAMBLE ASIDE: IAWYC is NOT abandoned!!! I truly appreciate the patience of everyone and promise to return soon! I'm somewhat coming down into a stable (enough) period soon where I hope to get the next chapter out by the end of June. Altho if that doesn't happen, FEEL FREE ME TO PESTER ME AGAIN LOL. internal motivation is simply an illusion and I need the right sense of impending doom to lock in sometimes.

Ughhh currently haunted by a Frankenstein (2025) AU idea, in which maybe Victor's notebooks exposing the Creature's nature didn't burn, but the letters containing his name did. The Creature learns of his nature but has no lead on how to find his Maker; he returns to the old man's home to find him dying, and then is forced to figure out his life from there.

Cue to 5 years later, Victor spots a very tall and familiar figure in Edinburgh... Surely what he proceeds to do isn't stalking, he's just shocked and overwhelmed and intensely curious about how his Creature manages a functional life! Adam (as he's been calling himself) is too kind and naive to turn him away, and maybe they strike up a friendship without Adam having any idea who Victor truly is, because Victor wouldn't tell him. 50k words of identity shenanigans slow burn later, Victor drops "I am your Father", Darth Vader style--
