Like really?

You saw Feyre withering away in the SC.

You saw her getting abused by your “best friend” and didn’t do anything to help her out of the situation.

You saw she was becoming healthy in the NC and still try to take her back to her abuser by force.

You only decide to start helping Feyre to see if her sister “is worth it”.

You get saved by Feyre’s mate and friends and look at her with such disgust that Rhys, Cassian and Azriel felt the need to protect her.

(And I’m not even gonna list all the condescending things he said to Feyre)

But sure… he didn’t know he was a villain in her story…

He dropped to his knees, taking my face in his hands. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

Let me remind:

It was Feyre who gave the most powerful men in Prythian a chance at salvation. And that was in the first book.

In the second, it was Feyre who saved Rhysand from the Hybern camp. And then she gave the Inner Circle a chance to escape the Hybern castle because she broke the ancient spells.

In the third book, Feyre literally gave opportunity to live for every creature because she restored the Cauldron.

Nesta stated in the main trilogy she did not want to become a warrior. She advised there are other kinds of strengths. She becomes a warrior BECAUSE the IC broke her down and forced her into that role so they could use and control her.

Nesta already died once BECAUSE of Feyre and the IC when they failed to keep the home safe from Hybern. When they forced mortals to take part in the fae war for literally no reason. Like, you’re telling me they needed that address to mail a letter and couldn’t use a random address? They couldn’t buy a home and use that as a meeting ground?

Feyre and the IC care so much about Nesta’s life, her safety, her wellbeing that they send her to the bog of oorid to retrieve a weapon for them. I guess Mor was too busy. Oh, it had to be someone cauldron touched? Well, can’t put their “high lady” on the job, she’s pregnant and we can’t hurt her or the baby. Oh wait, the pregnancy is actually not viable and she will die regardless? Hmmmm no it should be Nesta to do it.

Nesta was kidnapped and thrown into the blood rite? Oof sorry we can’t interfere. Oh, someone else already did and now there are weapons involved. Well that sucks but let’s focus on Eris. Trespassing into another court, or attacking multiple high lords outside of their own jurisdiction? Completely fine. Justified. Saving three young women from being kidnapped and thrown into certain death? Eeesh sucks but we have to follow The Law.

The sanctuary of the priestesses was not an option other than to work and not receive their services was because they care?

She was killed because of their actions and was never provided restitution. She is the reason their war ended and was never provided recompense. Let’s not even mention what was due to her as inheritance after her father’s death.

Nesta, like ALL living beings, has the right to go no contact with family for ANY reason. If she wants to drink and sleep around, that is HER right because that is HER life to do with as she pleases. If her gambling, sleeping around, and getting wasted is the standard for getting committed, why has Mor been allowed to roam free? Why are Cassian and Azriel not locked up for their own safety? Why did Rhysand tell Azriel to visit a brothel instead of pursuing elain if sleeping around is so immoral and unbecoming?

If Nesta was close to death because of her drinking and sleeping around, why was it okay for her and Cassian to sleep around? How come she never went through withdrawals?

Why was Nesta never allowed or provided the opportunity to leave the Night Court?

I’ve literally never had anyone give actual, rational answers to my questions instead of deflections.

If Nesta was suicidal, that is her right as well. It is her body and her life. No one else, least of all THE GOVERNMENT, should have the right to decide what she can do with it.

IDK how I misinterpreted Nesta’s character by saying she’s allowed to what she wants with her life, whether it’s to hate herself or kill herself. Unless you have actual valid answers, I will not respond again and will leave you with the following quote by philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer

and feyre is, quiet literally, a very kind and empathetic person, but people applaud aelin or bryce or nesta for being mean/having an attitude while calling feyre annoying or stupid.

the same goes for elain. she was the first to apologize to feyre, she's kind to the inner circle, and she's trying to fix her relationship with feyre now. meanwhile, nesta didn't even apologize and was unnecessarily mean and insulted people (and many more things.) but people praise her, saying "she could have been meaner, she's a badass," while calling elain boring or useless.
