the thing about being "good with kids" is all it takes is literally just not trying to control and mould them with every interaction. it's just being a normal person and engaging with them through normal interactions like having conversations and playing games. it's just being genuine and friendly and not perceiving them as lumps of wet clay you are there to shape. i was enjoying the new jay-z album for like 2 whole tracks until he went antisemitic but honestly i don’t know why i expect better of literally anyone anymore & i’m not going to watch as only black jews or just jews in general bring it up & it’s not talked about by anyone else at all

To me both seasons of the Pitt so far have been about Santos having the worst shift a person can possibly have and when her tank is empty and her walls of sacasm have been pulverized she looks around and finds the person that desperately needs something and gives it. When I was at the natural history museum, the fossil section had stickers on the glass to engage children - things like "Flap your arms like a pterodactyl" or "Measure your hand against the mosasaurus."
