It took Tumblr to point this out to me, but now it's one of my favorite details, and gets me about this scene every time now... Gil's been talking in Sparky fugue state font and wavery, crackling, unstable speech bubbles since the timestop went up, consistently.
He gets Tarvek back and - look at that speech bubble. Perfect.
Instant.
(and when Tarvek's kidnapped after this, Gil's speech bubbles immediately shatter again.)
Oh, Gil. You two need each other so much.
