(these were all three separate moments at completely different times btw) 

The funniest thing is that if you actually watch these Vlives again and these moments where Jimin laughs on Jungkook (and there are even more than what's on here), Jungkook is not even the one who makes the funny comments--Taehyung is. One of the clearest moments proving this is where Taehyung says the brand name for a car company in ‘It’s Part 2′, and Jimin laughs really hard but again, towards Jungkook, and on Jungkook instead of Taehyung, as if he’s the one who made the joke. All the other times Jimin is literally on Jungkook, it’s the same story: Jungkook is not doing or saying anything, but Jimin is turned to him and laughing with him. 

I found this really interesting because in the first Vlive with just Jimin and Taehyung, there was plenty of times when Jimin acted this same way with Taehyung--throwing himself over his lap too lol, so I’m not pointing out the fact that Jimin was all over Jungkook, because he was all over Taehyung too. But I am pointing out the fact that once Jungkook came, Jimin completely shifted most of his attention to Jungkook, and laughed/focused on him even at things Taehyung said. There’s even that moment in the second vlive when Taehyung is laughing at Jimin’s comment of Jikook starting a ‘Youtube channel’ instead of a ‘Vlive channel’, but Jimin looks at Jungkook and literally pauses to see if Jungkook will laugh too, and the second Jungkook does, Jimin only then bursts out laughing as well.

I don’t have a psychology degree or anything, but that idea of looking/turning to laugh with the person in the friend group that you feel closest to is not something you really need schooling to understand because if you have at least more than 2 friends, you’ve experienced this yourself. People inevitably have one person in the friend group that they look at first (most of the time) when something funny happens, and they’re usually the friend that you feel the most comfortable/like the most/spend the most time with/are closest with. This is why these moments where Jimin was laughing with Jungkook instead of Taehyung, literally the person BTS nicknames as his ‘soulmate’, was really interesting to me. It’s a whole other topic for a different post, but subtle moments like this (there’s been so many other moments where Jikook laugh with each other first before anyone else) make me realize how much closer Jimin feels to Jungkook than Taehyung, and that’s extremely revealing considering Vmin are known for being the closest in the band.

and friendly reminder to the idiots saying Jungkook is uncomfortable when Jimin does this: if he really doesn’t like it, he could easily just push him away like he did in the past:

But he doesn’t anymore, and is nowhere near that rough to Jimin either now. We’ve even seen Jungkook push Hobi away when he was trying to kiss his neck lmao he’s definitely not the type to be afraid to push someone away if he wanted to. Oh and, let’s not forget this ‘almost kiss’ that even flustered Jimin but just left Jungkook with a smug smile:

in that BE vlive even the members had to tell jk to stop moving so much (not trying to assume anything but this can be a sign of a mild attention disorder) but it’s just so cute that when it comes to jimin, jungkook gives his 100% attention and gets into that jimin trance lmao where he becomes a statue and just goes 👁👄👁:
