Hello to all extraterrestrials and maybe humans. As you know, humans are the strange bipedal apes. They didn't actually die in this setting, but they did try. This is the common thing for all intelligent species in the sector)
This post contains very short information about what humans in the 35th century are, how they live and what's their relationships with aliens.

The species of a humanoid type that evolved on planet named Earth by them and that has never been found anywhere beyond the Solar region before. Their large morphological and physiological diversity was created through gene modification programs. Numerous clades/types of humans aimed at creating populations beyond Homeplanet at orbit and on other planets. Furthermore, some groups have used genetic modification to oppose themselves from all other populations, and this has had very diverse consequences.
Homo sapiens is the yogest space species in the sector. Humans survived catastrophic climate change, interplanetary aggression and social crysis. Humanity was able to discover signs of alien life in the Homesystem and other intelligent species long before the age of massive interstellar expansion. Nowadays, it have been visited 19 stellar systems on relatively close distance from Homesystem. And humanity is now in a close cultural and technological relationship with the Antphants and Aviens.
At the moment in 3340s, the humans' Homeplanet's status is "revived". The population of Homesystem is quite small. There are small permanent and temporary settlements on most planets and moons in the system, and in their orbits. But the global population and large cities are only on the fourth rocky planet and moons of the gas giants. These are the old populations, that live in the ancient traditional human way.
The interspecies spaces have only start to develop in the Solar region. The first of these is the Antphant-human mixed population on the planet 50 light years away from the region's center. There are same colonies in the ANT (Autonomous Native Territories), which is part of the Solar region. Although the contact with AVI happened in several decades ago, and since then only one full-fledged Avien-Antphant-human interspecies integration program (IIP Hyades 11) has been formed.

По мимо этого отдельные группы людей прибегали к модификации для противопоставления себя дуги популяциям, что имело весьма разнообразные последствия.
Человек разумный - самый молодой космический вид в секторе. Люди пережили катастрофическое изменение климата, межпланетную агрессию и социальные кризисы. Человечество смогло обнаружить следы простой жизни в родной системе и открыть другие разумные виды задолго до эры активной межзвездной экспансии. В современности оно посетило 19 систем на сравнительно небольшом расстоянии от родной системы и находится в тесной культурной и технологической взаимосвязи с Антфантами и Авиенами.
На момент 3340-х годов статус родной планеты человека значится как "восстановлена". Население родной системы сравнительно невелико. Небольшие постоянные и временные поселения есть на большей части планет и лун системы и на их орбитах, но массово населены только четвертая скалистая планета и луны газовых гигантов. Это старые популяции с древним традиционным человеческим укладом жизни.
В Солнечном регионе только начинается развитие межвидовых поселений. Самое первое - смешанная антфанто-человеческая популяция планеты на удалении 50 св. лет от центра региона. Такие же колонии есть и на территории АНТ (Автономных Естественных Территорий) в составе Солнечного региона. И, хотя, контакт с АВИ произошёл несколько десятилетий назад и с тех пор образовалась только одна полноценная авиено-антфанто-человеческая межвидовая программа интеграции (МПИ Гиады 11).

agartha. yeah you heard me. fascists too stubborn to surrender under siege in a CAVE. so stubborn they'd rather eat each others' legs and scrape algae off the rocks than go back to the surface and admit defeat. fuckin. weird.

real talk i would NOT like Sylvester either, for similar reasons. he's genuine in his friendliness but too oblivious to notice he's destroying everyone around him. he thinks if he just says sorry and has good intentions then everything will be forgiven. fuuuuck people like that.

Archetypes! they are a thing, all ocs align to existing archetypes.
I keep trying to write a Magnificent Bastard (Sylvester is the latest attempt) but idk if he's earned it yet. There's something timelessly appealing about Bad Guys who get out of karma just because they're sooooo sexy.
Solena is the straight As perfect attendance goody two-shoes brown-noser. I'm sure there's a trope for that. She's been building that reputation for so long, nobody believes she could unflinchingly break the rules and carry on like normal, never getting caught. that's why she's so paranoid!

I do not ship it! But the aforementioned are an item! a couple! a scandal!! I don't plan on developing their relationship in the main comic, but if you're curious:
they agreed to destroy the letter and pretend they never read it. they're living together and sleeping together and trying not to think about it :)
they keep a lot of secrets from each other. Sylvester gets TOO excited about Campaigns -> she gets sick of hearing about it -> he spends all his time with coworkers/drugs instead
Solena craves his attention but has no way to get it except starting a fight -> gets increasingly more irritated about petty things (housework, money, what station he left the radio on) -> eventually turns it into an explosive argument -> they "split up" knowing full well they can't stay apart -> after a few weeks sulking, convinces herself he'll "act normal now that the Campaign is over" -> goes back to him and pretends nothing happened. he 100% buys it and promises next year will be different. it's not :)

Almost all of them; it's inevitable for how long we've been working on this. but big Nope to sharing the old versions!! looking at my old drawings makes me want to kms :) apparently I am the only artist with this problem. maybe one day we'll solve it.
