Same here. I've figured out I'm a therian wolf girl, and also nonbinary (got a xenogender), thanks to the reflection fighting back against transandrophobia had be do.

Oh and also the assumption that trans male and transmasculine experiences are monolithic and limited to normative manhood and a desire to pass or already being cis passing is ultimately just an expression of an extremely reductionist perspective.

it pisses me off when I see people on here who shit on trans mascs/trans men for existing (cis and trans people alike) who try to act like they aren’t just singling out trans mascs/men. “no no, I hate all men! it’s not transphobic!” but like. you scroll through their posts and it’s all “stupid birthdays boys” “these whiny transandrocunts” “theyfabs”. none of these people will EVER hate a real cis man as much as they hate the trans masc straw man in their mind who is apparently responsible for every transphobic policy ever pushed.

there's this specific grief that comes with being trans and hearing another trans person has died. because no matter how far away they were, it never feels distant, it feels communal. cellular. like someone reached into the wiring of your own body and cut a thread. trans people learn early on in their journey - often even before they begin transitioning - that survival is treated like a political statement. joy is political. transition is political. getting to exist long enough to become boring is political.

I reject the premise that trans women are the "main" targets of transphobia. I reject the premise that trans women are victimized more, worse, or more intentionally by transphobia than trans men. I reject the premise that trans men are only accidental or secondary targets of transphobia. I reject the premise that trans men are merely splash damage casualties in attacks against trans women. I reject the premise that trans men are only accidentally harmed by transphobia.
