i got kicked out of a local punk band once over some vague rumor a theyfab started to try to imply that i was dangerous. the сis male singer went around cold calling people who knew me to “warn” them about me. the bassist, another сis man, later admitted to having once raped a girl. he is still in the band and he and the singer are best friends.

honestly atp, if you're behaving like a terf i will consider you as no better even if you are trans (of any kind) yourself Like, oh, you're asking what's in my pants so you can categorise me on how problematic i am? You speak as if people with different sexual organs are inherently different species with genetically pre-determined behavior? You think it's only "man and woman" and that there are only two monolithic sexual characteristics? You think that afab and amab are two single monolithic experiences? You think that trans women are more likely to be abuser due to being "biologically men"? You think that trans men are more likely to be abuser because "well men are rapist this is a rule of nature"? You think an amab non binary person and an afab non binary person of the same gender are not actually the same gender because of what you assume of their genitals? And these ideas define your vision of feminism/trans rights/etc?

I think the biggest problem with headcanoning jax as transmasc is that it completely destroys the story thats being told. Jax is about repression, she utilizes misogyny to push people away. Her story is so relatable for me personally, I was a Jax at one point, I couldn't accept myself and did everything I could to kill that part of me.

wait sorry i have more to say avain sorry this is rambly as fuck but i think in general a lot of tme trans people just have to focus on not centering themselves all the time like trans women are disproportionately affected by transphobia and its not worth the time to keep sayinf See we face transphobia too which is obvious!! it just affects trans women at a larger scale! non transitioning transmasc and feminine nonbinary people are seen as like The Face of the trans community somehow ??? and a lot of them get so mad when theyre not centered for once AND IM SAYING THIS AS A FEMININE NB PERSON like just focus on unpacking ur internalized misogyny and transmisogyny and supporting ur trans sisters instead of constantly validating ppl and arguing with randos online that you also face transphobia whenever a trans woman talks abt the transmisogyny she faces

i think thats also why some trans men (not necessarily the crazy misogynistic ones but ones whi havent rly unpacked internalized misogyny) spend so much time arguing with trans women abt Who Have It Worse or whatever when it comes to like. anything (objectively trans women) bc they cannot fathom the idea that women do have it worse than men even when it comes to passing and appearances women are held to so much higher standards than men and i think some trans men hold a misogynistic view of trans women where they expect trans women to be perfect people and do all the right things and when they dont they get like super mad like god forbid random trans women on twitter didnt talk about a specific thing happening to trans men oh wow sorry i rambled IM SORRY

trans men experiencing transphobia + misogyny is not the same as experiencing transmisogyny and ALSO let us all not pretend theres not a phenomenon of trans men becoming insanely misogynistic like that is a genuine problem in the trans man community

interestingly transitioning is not some magical way of becoming a feminist. youre just repackaging misogyny and throwing it at trans men like majority of us arent in a very similar boat and stand up for yall all the time. wake up, touch some grass, and talk to actual real life trans people. and maybe examine your biases and internalized misogyny.
