Doll Character Collection - Pt 1

There were times I didn't draw much, i keep on challenging myself to keep drawing.

My newest challenge is to draw an illustration for each doll I have. Starting with my first 4 dolls. I decided to group them as I had a break after the first four. Later on I started to challenge myself with poses, the first ones were me slowly getting back into the vibe.

Vincent

After Samuel my oldest OC (created in 2006) and my first doll. He went through some design changes over the time, but this design is still pretty close to the OG one he had. He's the son of a ringleader but due his health conditions he can't travel with the family and is forced to stay in their winter quarters. He wants to perform in the ring but his father insists that his family members are either working as ringleader or in the background. Vincent disagrees and practises without his father's consent. But as his father finds out Vincent still tries to impress him and gets injured badly, losing his memory as result.

Raphael

Raphael is a character that grew with the doll I got for him. I created him in 2008 and he is a fallen Angel. Little teen goth me at works here. But not the average fallen angel, in this story the Arch Angels indeed are able to die/wear out. They are replaced by clones over time. Raphael is one of these and he is tricked into believing he killed his mentor, what he never did. He falls and on earth he slowly loses his mind.

Fanny

Fanny was actually a character loosely based on a friend's character at first but then became an own character later on. His full name is Frederic, he's Pierre's pet fox and sneaks around, makes fun of members of the side show and loves to munch on cakes and sweets.

WiP - Allen's Animate Special Card Design (Spring 26) - Timcampy Slippers

Now for the main item - the reason I overall wanted to make this outfit: THE SLIPPERS!

I really saw the outfit and fell for the slippers, luckily I got a crafting sole in a local store and everything else I already had at home. Is this the first time for me making slippers? Yes.

Well I made doll ones but that was like 2 seams and done :')

First of all after getting the soles I made some pattern. As mentioned I made doll slippers and shoes in before therefore I just trusted myself here that I somehow was able to create something that resembled slippers.

I tested the base of the slippers around the sole (and I should have tested both ... as I needed to correct that later on) and moved forward then.

I decided to do all machine parts first, which means attaching the puzzle the pattern were together and make the little wings.

After that I stuffed the pieces and made the overall base of the slippers. Then it took me quite long to attach them to the soles even if it was a kit for crafting, to stitch through the fabric was hard.

ofc i had to test them, they were crooked though, i decided to ignore that for now

I wasn't sure how to make the crossed I just opted to to the same as for my last Timcampy plushy and it worked, but the glue ate a bit of the fabric's color?? I have no idea but it's okay.

Adjusting as they were too crooked as I wanted to attach the crosses. I also had a weird bulge in one base stripe that I tried to correct as well. I am glad I didn't resew the whole sole but just went to redo a small part and actually removed the top to adjust that because that was easier on my hands than correcting the sole.
