It was so special getting to see Lissa's last show π₯Ή Her Elphie is such a cutie and her NGD is always incredible but that one was truly something else lol her Fiyero riff sent me to orbit
As for Allie's Glinda.. there are no words that I can use to explain how obsessed I am with her asjdfjs she's def one of my favs in recent years. I love how clearly influenced she is by literally every Glinda that's ever been, but she still does so many things I have never ever seen before. And her Glinda is so charming.. I was swooning the whole time (I'm gay) AND, something I think has been missing from the US casts for a little while, SHE'S SAD! I love when act 2 Glinda looks like a sopping wet puppy on the verge of tears during almost every scene and she deliveredddddd. Like yessss your life is falling apart because of your own choices let the audience know! Anyway. I do love her take on the character, her Glinda is so chirpy and so incredibly full of love, and underneath how depressed she is during act 2 there is an edge of Anger that I really like, and she also walks like a ballet dancer which makes me so π
And raaaa the gelphie dynamic was so so so good. I've seen Lissa w three Glindas and I need people to know that she is Always Gay. She always plays an Elphaba who is a little in love with Glinda and doesn't know what to do about it, so every time Glinda shows affection Elphie is like ?????? (well that's how EYE interpret it obviously. She is probably not trying to act like that sdfsd) And Glinda was so obsessed with her and with holding her hand at all times. They were so very sweet and touchy I really enjoyed seeing them play off of each other :) For Good was very very emotional. I cried but that's nothing new. Also with the two of them Elphie is so much shorter... which doesn't affect the performance in any way shape or form but I just love it when Glinda is the tall one.
