I think people forget what fandom is for and that makes me so sad.. Trying to prove that you’re “right” for whatever reason. Who gives a fuck. Enjoy your little show or movie. Enjoy your little fictional characters. Love your ships. Hate characters just cause you can. Hate ships just cause can. Theorize all you want. Be as silly as you want. Who CARES. The minute you start policing what you do/say for fear of what other people in a fandom will say, you’ve lost. The minute you go out of your way to attack others just because they don’t agree with you, you’ve lost. Your fandom experience is for YOU, stop giving a fuck about what others think and stop treating fandom spaces as some kind of moral superiority complex. We’re all just here smashing our dolls together and playing in the sandbox. Lighten tf up.
