the way your skin feels ablaze and your body’s so tense and you feel a little lightheaded is so intoxicating. you crave more, so much more, but you’ll take what you can get. neither of you make any move to get away, enjoying this minimal physical contact with one another. like you’re both just sitting there and making excuses to stay sitting stuck to each other like this, even if there’s space. for a moment, he does move forward to grab at something in front of him and you deflate a little, but he comes back right away, pressing himself to you and even leaning close to show you something on his phone.

-> admires you while you’re getting ready in the bathroom, and walks up to you, hugging you from behind. then pulls out his phone to take a quick mirror selfie of y’all and shows you the pictures while saying “damn babe we look goood”

-> you almost always wake up to him staring at your peaceful, sleeping state. soft smile spread on his face. greets you with a “good morning angel”, and reaches for your knuckles, bringing them to his lips to kiss every single one.

-> he also winds up staring at you in admiration and awe whenever you’re doing something you’re passionate about. he loves seeing his s/o so determined and he appreciates all your hard work so much.

the tip of his tongue stuck out and curved up as he concentrated, his electric guitar propped on his knee. oikawa’s been practicing the opening cords of do i wanna know? by arctic monkeys and now he’s finally playing it for you. his fingers strummed the cords with ease. he’d been wanting to learn it for a while after finding out that it’s your favorite song.

sweat dripped down his temples, his muscles flexing with every chord.

his dark brown orbs locking with yours when he glanced up at you through his lashes.

he looked beautiful.

and just when you thought he couldn’t get any more attractive....

he flashed a lazy grin and sang the lyrics perfectly.

“c’mon,” suna chuckled, gently pushing you towards the skateboard that was rolling in front of you. you scowled at him, soft eyes contradicting your expressing as you looked at him before turning to face the contraption in front of you.

“do i have to?” you asked, your tone exasperated as you pouted slightly. suna faltered at the sight, shaking his head briefly before nudging you forward once again. 

“yes,” he replied dully. “unless you’re too chicken.”

you made a small noise of indignation at his words before stomping over to the skateboard, muttering under your breath as you did so. “i’ll show you who’s chicken.”

suna snorted at your words as he watched you, a smile tugging at his lips when he noticed the way you placed your foot on the skateboard carefully. you stifled a yelp when your foot drove the skateboard forwards, causing you to wobble before you managed to regain your balance. you could feel suna’s smug stare burning into you. 

“need some help?” he called out, earning a sharp look from you. 

“no!” you snapped, rolling the skateboard back to your side. “i got this.”

you took a deep breath before stepping onto the skateboard once again, this time managing to successfully board it. you crossed your arms as you rolled past suna slowly, giving him a smug smile before sticking your tongue out. “see this rin? i did it.”

suna nodded along, amusement dancing on his face as he observed the exact moment in which you realized that you were still rolling along. “need some help now?”

“yes!” you cried out in defeat, arms reaching out as he jogged to your side. you couldn’t help the soft shudder that ran through your body as suna’s hand landed on your waist, effortlessly bringing you (and the skateboard) to a stop in front of him. 

“hey,” he said, a smile tugging at his lips as he tried to catch your gaze. 

“hey,” you whispered back, chuckling softly when he leaned forward to press a kiss to the corner of your mouth. “i think i deserve a better reward than that, don’t you think? after all, i managed to actually get on the skateboard.”

suna simply smiled at your words before rolling his eyes good-naturedly. before you could open your mouth to convince him further however, he leaned back in, catching you off guard as he captured your lips in a sweet kiss. your hands unconsciously clutched at his shirt, balling up the fabric as you sighed softly. the kiss was over before you could truly enjoy it, and for once, you weren’t upset at the smug look on suna’s face when he noticed the dazed state he had left you in. 

“well,” suna whispered, giving you the soft smile you knew he only ever gave you. “off you go.”

you yelped as he pushed you gently, sending the skateboard rolling away from him once more. you snarled at him, sticking out your middle finger as he tumbled to the ground from laughing so hard. 

“suna rintarou, i swear on my life that you will regret this!”
