I’m not quite sure why I always drift back to this place

Or why I feel like it is a home for my words to be spoken.

Maybe it’s the idea that no one is reading thing and yet some stranger from halfway across the world can still see this

This message that we as humans send across to communicate 

to feel less alone

to perhaps feel a little more alive

Tiny fragments of your face dancing in the memory

when I drove away on a hot summer day

I can still see you

in the rearview mirror 

Your deep blue eyes glistened in the distance 

Our chapter came to an end

... land

I float amogst the seasons

... hopelessly wandering

On sweetest fields

That can feed my this hunger...

To continue this journey...

No where to ...

The familiar heaviness that sinks deeply

An old friend...

..hello...

For I already know what lies ahead

A disenchantment in the distance

Can you smell the smoke?? The uncontrollable flames?

But the moment is worth the magic

...rare and short lived

I will never stop reaching for them
