Hi, welcome to my blog! It's an "x reader" focused space for headcanons/fanfics/other pieces concerning the beloved characters from the game 'Limbus Company'. All of my works are rather self-indulgent, which also means I focus mostly on characters I really like and/or they suit the exact scenario I want to put them in - this means I will be very particular when it comes to accepting any kind of requests (sorry! not really confident in my writing style in english!).

Please, keep in mind english is not my first language - I might and will make mistakes! My blog, as stated above IS self indulgent - which means heavy, triggering topics (for example: mental health issues, abuse, self harm, eating disorders) MAY appear (they will be tagged approprietaly beforehand!). I do not ever plan to write male pov works as I am deeply uncomfortable with that - all my works will be kept either gender neutral or fem-focused. Some of the sinners might never get the deserved spotlight due to me not 'feeling' them enough to characterize them properly / put them in any scenario! (I am also an active university student - so my posting schedule will be inconsistent c": Writing is unfortunately only a hobby of mine!). Not really planning on writing anything NSFW - might be suggestive at best! When/How do they fall for you? When do they confess?
If you showed any affinity for doing what’s good and just, then Don likely had an infatuation with you from the start. One that starts out small but slowly snowballs into obsession. That obsession is crumbles apart when her canto comes by and passes, and it’s only after it crumbles that Don can truly fall in love with you and have a relationship that isn’t messed up by her black and white view of the world.
Otherwise, it takes a while for Don to fall in love with you. She’s not exactly sure what made her fall in love with you exactly — she could list a thousand reasons without knowing which one is the first — but she’s aware of when she falls in love. She doesn’t deny her feelings but she does hesitate to share them with you, instead going to others on advice while doing her best not to give away the fact that she’s the fool in love.
She confesses after being told by several people that she should, all of which giving her a different reason as to why she should confess. On her own, she’s more likely to to confess after her canto but before the regular check up. She’s understanding if you reject her but happy beyond words if you accept her feelings.
Regardless, she does treat your relationship as more of a courtship than anything else; with you acting as her liege, and her acting as your knight.
How affectionate are they? What about PDA?
Don is very, very affectionate, however she tries to restrain herself a bit if she views you as her liege. It’s not very knightly of her if she jumps you with hugs and kisses whenever she gets the opportunity to, is it? PDA is even worse in that regard, as she does want to be affectionate with you in public but alas, it would be unsightly of her to do anything of that sort to her liege. This, thankfully, does not apply if the two of you are in private, though she still does try to control herself a bit.
However, you don’t have any problems like that. If you wanted to — and Don really hopes that you do — you could pepper her face with kisses whenever and wherever you want. It’s your right as her liege, she believes. It’s not improper at all if you leave lipstick marks all over her face and she’ll certainly give you puppy eyes while waiting for you be affectionate with her one way or another.
If you ever call out her scheming, she’ll pretend she didn’t hear you and double down.
What do they think of nicknames? Do they have any for you?
Don has plenty of nicknames for you as calling you by your real name is reserved for more serious moments. Her favourite way of referring to you is calling you her liege. Likewise, she adores it when you call her your knight.
Does their behaviour change in any way?
Aside from playing around and pretending to be a lovestruck fool — though she is also that, just not to the point she’d let it affect her judgement too much — there is no change in Don’s behaviour. Whatever change there is comes from her growth as a person rather than your presence influencing her to act a certain way.
Do they get jealous? How do they handle it?
Don gets pouty and sulks whenever she’s jealous, whining about how her liege has found someone else to be her knight and how she’ll be abandoned now.
She is, of course, screwing around. If her act gets you to pamper her with your attention for a bit then she certainly won’t mind, but she’s not truly jealous nor does the feeling overtake her in any way. If she got into a relationship with you before her canto, she certainly would’ve been upset and enough to get between you and the other person you were talking with. However, as she is now, she trusts you enough to not act out.
…Unless the other person you’re talking with gives off bad vibes. Then she’ll come between you and them and proudly announce herself as your knight.
What about dates? How romantic are they?
Don tries to be as knightly as she can, which translates to her being just as romantic. Getting you flowers, writing you poems and letters, asking your hand for a dance, opening doors for you, kissing your hands and feet…
Dates with her are more or less similar, though she’ll be often asking other people for ideas since she’s not familiar with this sort of stuff. Her favourite place to take you out to is amusement parks, specifically the ferris wheel where the two of you can enjoy privacy while enjoying the view below.
However, for most of her dates, she’ll be taking you out to eat. The fastest way to someone’s heart is through food, after all. She’s also rather fond of picnics.
How are they with domestic tasks?
Don is good at some, bad at the others. She’s good at opening jars, however you’ll want her as far away from the kitchen unless you want your house to become inhospitable. She is good at cleaning — it’s specifically keeping the place clean, not organized — otherwise as well as fixing up whatever needs fixing.
How do they handle fights?
Don doesn’t really handle fights. They’re rare with her anyway — she knows when to keep fooling around and when to keep quiet now that she isn’t living in a lie to escape reality anymore, not to mention that she’s open to learning where she has gone wrong if she’s the one in wrong — but whenever they happen, she tries her best to not let things get out of hand.
If things do escalate to the point that you’re in a shouting match with her, though, then your relationship is pretty much over anyway.

Don is absolutely insistent on staying in your room while you study – either by your side, on a neatly prepared additional chair (so she can loudly breathe into your ear LOL, lovely accidental mouth-breather 𖹭) or on your bed, reading fixer-magazines or just relaxing
if you ask her, she will be absolutely ECSTATIC to either quiz you or check your mock test – a dear knight turned professor?!..
but don't even bother asking her for help in understanding the material.. don't get me wrong: she is intelligent, as well as she is knowledgable – but only in the fixer and justice department (!)
if your preferred method of studying is blurting, oh she will be seated and attentive like no one else: 'I am ready for thy wise words, my dear! Prithee, bestow thy knowledge uponeth me, as we both will slay the unknown!'
during mid-day.. she might randomly leave your room – and come back with some snacks; either fruit or sweets. If sticky hands bother you, she won't turn away from the offer of hand-feeding you: how come a "wise scholar" as you can be so.. cute?! (but don't you think! she'll obviously snack with you: sticky hands are no obstacle to stop her from cherishing yummy crisps or sour grapes)
while reading on your bed, she'll make sure not to even gasp! she can't let herself distract you with anything, be it a giggle or a sharp inhale of surprise due to something happening in her fixer magazine.. maybe other than timely breaks during which she'll make you do jumping jacks – get that air flowing! (but don't you worry, she'll have you covered with every fixer news you missed – just wait after the exams :p)
but if she gets the permission to sit beside you, she might start reading through the material with you... or help you note-take, quietly picking out the highlighter colours you should use
for her, keeping you company is integral to gaining a good score – 'tis the comfort one needs! Because what is a knight and what is an adventure.. without their loyal squire?!
she won't be making you go to bed early – if being a night owl is your style, she's content with that; don't be surprised if you wake up with a blanket draped over you though, a fresh cup of coffee with a pastry on the side and a little note 'Let's conquer 'tis day! 🤺'
there will be a lot of praise involved – from the fact that you finished a paragraph to even waking up on the day of the exam... This ray of sunshine might make you tan from how much she beams with excitement!
/en conclusión/ Don is a rather "active" study companion: she'll be all over the place while you're stuck at your desk – but for her, a suffering shared is half the suffering 𖹭 Please tell her how helpful she is, but beware! She might jump through the ceiling from happiness.
( 👻 ) FAUST !
for Faust, she wouldn't really indulge herself in your process of studying – she already knows all of it after all; but what might 'worry' her is your condition and the amount of time you spend at your desk
every now and then she would enter your room with a quiet knock to bring you.. a fruit bowl. I picture Faust to be very insightful about your well-being and the way vitamins support the body and mind
she would have a bowl with meticously cut bananas, apple slices and berries – with a water vase on the side, have it mint or some lemon slices inside as well
it can go either way – she'll put it on your desk without a word and leave as not to disturb you; or if you inquire "why", she'll go on a rant: "Every fruit Faust has prepared is full of both antioxidants and healthy fats, which improve the communication between braincells. The lemon contained in water brings vitamin c, which is essential for producing neurotransmitters and protecting the brain from oxidative stress [...]" – her words, not mine! Be prepared for a great health lecture though
she will be trying her best not to bother you too much – keeping an eye every now and then without a word.. as if she was eager for you to ask her for help though
if you do ask her for help, be ready for.. a long note-taking session: Professor Faust's lecture will be a specifically catered and perfectly encapsulated key to passing!...
she will answer every one of your questions as well as repeat every part of her monologue you didn't catch beforehand
as she goes on and on about the topic of your exam, you might even see a shadow of a smile on her lips – she feels much heat in her chest.. for the simplest reason of her being able to charm you with her sparking intelligence and omni-knowledge
she will try her best to soften her somewhat arrogant demeanor; you're now her best (and only) student after all; but you might see her lightly furrow her eyebrows if some parts of the material can't seem to get through you
she'll make sure you go to sleep at according hours, as she believes 'studying at early hours is the most effective way' – and if she catches you trying to put your notes under your pillow.. yeah, those are getting taken away quickly!.. and a light huff might do too, how unserious it is to believe knowledge will spill into your brain by itself?
in the mornings, you'll be met with a nutritional breakfast and a cleaned-up desk, already prepared for the next couple of hours – for her it's obvious your mind is NOT! in the right state for such trivial matters
over-all, a very non-invasive "study companion" – her want to be as helpful and shine with her intelligence talks through her, but it's endearing on its' own. Please praise her, she deserves it.. and might even give you a very flat praise back – in her own "faustian" style 𖹭
