I neither like or dislike Eric Lombardi but it's very funny to me how much millennial conservatives love this dude for being baseline competent (admittedly sets him apart) and also being like I have recently learned 30 year-old heterosexuals want houses and babies and society should support this.
The thing is, like yes, true on the thinness of this. But the thing is, the strength of other forms of identity politics is not necessarily coming from any thicker cultures right; I'd argue some of the fervor is that there's not any deep culture shared by, say, second generation pan-asians united by school lunch trauma let alone whatever is happening with San Francisco Wasians.
It's genuinely bizarre to me that people will write stuff like this without a clear acknowledgement that (to a much lesser extent than children**) the public burden of old age is inflated and it is not actually the bare minimum of human decency to have 20 years of total idleness* at the living standards of late middle age. Is it a political problem to unwind that when seniors get to vote and children don't? Sure, but not exactly an intractable economic one. I don't know why it's such a mental stretch to understand that up to a point the labour that goes into funding 65 year old's luxury consumption could be redirected to 80 year-olds actual needs.

I think I might support an under 16 social media ban just so the children they send me to teach are forced to become genuinely computer literate again.

This is actually really interesting* because I had always taken it mostly at face that value that what some urbanists act like is the original sin of the suburbs--that they were only possible because of federal funding for even local infrastructure--was actually true more or less unilaterally even if it's a strange complaint that doesn't actually add up to 'unsustainability'. Not only is debt a basically reasonable way of paying for capital projects, the argument that somehow this was possible 70 years ago and not now is thin right. (The point in this article about debt being cheaper for wealthier cities is also basically reasonable, but it's a problem with different solutions.)
I for one never could imagined that a set of political compromises characterized by a majority accepting that minority groups would be identarian**--and have social license to do so--while they wouldn't be might be sensitive to demographic change. The worst part is it seems likes no way to unwind this: if Starmer (to use a particular example) thought he could manage tensions with the same presumption that racial grievance should at least mean serious consideration of mistreatment even before everything has come out in the wash, he would. From the other side, if the arguments about prejudice and power were all that were going on, a shift away from a single ultradominant majority should have decreased the salience of ethnic tensions and perceptions of marginalization rather than increased them.
