1) Positive confessions, random comments etc are all fine as long as they in some way relate to Art Fight.
2) We might delete your ask if you do either of the following: say slurs, doxx someone, say something so mean and evil that even we donât find it appropriate to publish, DIDcourse asks etc. We reserve the right not to publish your ask if itâs just going to trigger a useless debate that no longer has any relevance to ArtFight (i.e âItâs not about raceâ asks) If a topic is dragging on too long and becomes a strong point of tension we have a right to cut it short or put it on temporary pause
3) By viewing this blog or sending in an ask you acknowledge that the mods of this blog have nothing to do with the opinions published. These are not our own opinions and we are just hosting a space for users to vent or gush or whatever
4) This should go without saying, but do not take everything said on this blog as factual unless evidence is provided. Drama blogs will often over-dramatize everything. Take confessions with a grain of salt.
5) You may use the blog to submit private confessions as well. Please clearly indicate in your ask that you do not want us to publish that ask.
6) Serious accusations against users (such as pedophilia) will be expected to be accompanied with proof. If sufficient proof is provided, we will tag it as âPSAâ. Asks requiring proof may stay up for approximately 48 hours before we delete them due to not receiving necessary proof.

Frequently Asked Questions
I was mentioned on the blog, can you remove the posts?
Depends. If you message us and be reasonable about it we might be willing to consider.
I was mentioned on the blog, what do I do?Â
I mean this very seriously when I say: stop engaging with the blog. This is common for all drama blogs. If you are mentioned, the sooner you stop engaging, the less the anons have to go off of. You may think you are clearing the air, but youâre just giving them more and more fodder. Donât engage and it will come to pass on its own in a few days.
You havenât posted in two+ days, is the blog dead?
No. Real life stuff probably popped up. Please be patient with us. This blog isnât going anywhere if we have a say in it, we promise.

ig this is beating a dead horse but the debacle on the "thanking people for their attacks" seems weird to me. yea i think its true you should never feel obliged to say thank you, but it's kind of asshole behaviour to me. that sounds mean but it'd be "asshole behavior" to not say thank you to your waiter, or someone who held the door open for you, or someone who gave you a gift. do you need to say thank you? no, i'm not arguing that it's some law that must be followed strictly, nobody can or will enforce that, but it's a bit of a disrespect to that person not to, they put time and effort into it. it is a gift. it would be considered disrespectful not to say thank you or to acknowledge someone in real life who handed you a gift, why are we acting like it's different here.
i see the conversation about this has its nuances know there are people who have anxiety but regardless, as i see it, people like to see their work validated and their efforts seen, and it doesn't take much time out of our day to say so. would those same people not also want people to say thank you to them??? why should someone say thank you to you and not you to others?
similar to the bird ask https://www.tumblr.com/artfightdramaconfessions/819977827097133056/so-many-characters-in-the-feral-bird-tag-are-just i feel the same with bugs!
Bug anthros are practically non-existent, every single ocs tagged as bugs will either be dogs with antennae, mandibles, horns and/or wings of very ambiguous species, scarabs with a mammalian body, or hybrids (with the non bug species being dominant in the design). Iâm specifically looking for bugs that look somewhat accurate/realistic or designed in such a way that i can draw them the way i like to but i just canât find any at all! I am kind of guilty of this though, a majority of my bug ocs are designs that i complain about, because when i was trying to make bug ocs a couple of years ago it was genuinely so hard to design one, since i couldnât find any reference or example of one that i just gave up and stuck with these other types of ocs. But I think I can do it now, thankfully! Iâm thinking of changing some of my hybrid bugs into full bugs!
btw there is nothing wrong with bug dogs or bug hybrids i am just frustrated because these are the only options i can find!
I also wish people would think a little more when tagging their ocs. I was looking through the centipede tag and one of the characters was a dog with six arms and antennae, with 0 centipede design elements.
quick confession: i use art farmers' defense tabs like a personal hitlist. if you're making a NICE revenge in response to a 10 second pixel headshot you're a stronger soul than i and i'd rather draw something good for you than for the 50k people who fill out hitlist forms and never actually say thank you.

(I sent this ask in a little bit ago but I think it got eaten so I'm resending it)
This is going to piss people off but the way some people talk about not receiving comments is genuinely quite ableist.
"If you can't comment on attacks you shouldn't be on artfight" is a sentiment I see expressed fairly frequently.
I have disabilities that affect my ability to think and type. On a bad day thinking and typing even just a single sentence can take 30+ minutes and will leave me exhausted to the point that I can't type anymore. On good day it is still difficult and takes a lot out of me.
You're essentially saying that I and people like me shouldn't be allowed to partake in the event because we aren't able to do things as easily as you are.
"just copy and paste thank you, anything is better than nothing" is also often expressed and it completely contradicts how people actually react to that sort of thing.
I have had multiple people get mad at me and say that I obviously hated their art because I only said thank you and didn't tell them what I like about it. Almost every time I see people talking about comments they bring up how short comments make them anxious and they don't like it when people say thank you and nothing else.
I don't know what to do. If I type comments I get burnt out and can't participate. If I copy paste short comments people get mad at me and call me ungrateful. If I don't comment at all people call me ungrateful and say I shouldn't be allowed on artfight
I'm tired. Disabled people can't do anything right ever. Nothing we can do is good enough for you people
Anyway this is just something I've been thinking about for a while and now that artfight is almost here and has brought it to the forefront of my mind again I wanted to say something about it while I'm feeling well enough to type
I usually don't like being attacked by traditional artists. Not because I hate traditional art, I think it can look gorgeous and there are a lot of traditional artists I really admire. But it feels like 90% of traditional artists on artfight are TERRIBLE at photographing their art and I can barely even see what they actually drew for me. If you're not able to properly scan your art please at least make sure that you have decent lighting and shadows aren't blocking the entire thing. I'm sure I'd love your art... if I could SEE it...
will throwing 15 bucks at artfight to show up on the featured list give me more visibility or would i just be throwing money into a void? looks like when i look at the list its all mostly people who paid more at the top. Hmmmm...
Just blocked a new follower because I didn't like their art for the first time, I feel so bad but I'm absolutely swamped with revenges and I know I would just have a negative reaction if they attacked me, I don't want put multiple hours into making a revenge for something that is just a unshaded blob with spiky hair. I know I could just not revenge but I'm very attached to my perfect quota and don't want to disappoint people

All this talk about people preferring to draw certain characters made me only have 3 OCs in my first year on Artfight. These are my most beloved and I want them to get their fair share of attacks before I show other more "common" characters like the pony and the pretty girl.
Was looking on Twitter to find more artfight users just to find this 20+ yr old making gore of a 16 yr old's OC because they were jealous of them. I blocked that bitch so fast on artfight. This shit is wild
Added a new section to a bunch of my characters' profiles called Spiritually Relevant Memes, let's see where this gets us in terms of Getting the Vibe. I do feel guilty about the characters that don't have memes, though... I'm sorry babes I just did not collect your vibes in the recent past :(
Can I speak my truth? As someone who gets more attacks than I can possibly revenge each year, I don't advertise on social media or discord, barely even have a presence online, not a paid member of the site, I've never had a hitlist, so any attacks I do receive will be from people finding me randomly on Artfight itself.
The only thing stopping you from getting more attacks is unwillingness to improve at art. It's that simple. Anyone can become skilled at drawing and character design, which will automatically attract people to your profile. Instead of complaining about not getting any attacks/revenges, just practice!

ok what is all the hype about kitsuvii/revlis all I see is that they do super small headshots like.... are they just popular 'cause they block people who don't revenge? is that it?
Positive : I love having Artfight mutuals to attack and revenge every year! We never talk outside of the event, but once a year we have fun drawing each other's characters and seeing our improvement, and it's precious :D
