2) We might delete your ask if you do either of the following: say slurs, doxx someone, say something so mean and evil that even we don’t find it appropriate to publish, DIDcourse asks etc. We reserve the right not to publish your ask if it’s just going to trigger a useless debate that no longer has any relevance to ArtFight (i.e ”It’s not about race” asks) If a topic is dragging on too long and becomes a strong point of tension we have a right to cut it short or put it on temporary pause

I mean this very seriously when I say: stop engaging with the blog. This is common for all drama blogs. If you are mentioned, the sooner you stop engaging, the less the anons have to go off of. You may think you are clearing the air, but you’re just giving them more and more fodder. Don’t engage and it will come to pass on its own in a few days.

Hmmmm and if I said that some of the newer physical attack users are just trying to advertise their ~smol businesses~. Yeah please show us how your crochet bag is lined, it's definitely totally the character's colours. And I'm fine with artists advertising their work through attacks because this is primarily an art game. The little bracelets are fun, the sculptures are amazing, but come the fuck on you are not serious about your granny square bag being made for someone's random OC. Especially because they have to pay shipping to get it too.
I know I'm not going to want it and as a long time crocheter myself I know how fucking insane crocheters get over any slight at all. A crochet attack with "please pay shipping if you want it or I GUESS I'll probably have to show everyone on tiktok and pity market it because oh gee poor me they didn't want it.... fuck my stupid baka life i guess...." Like it's so obvious how its gonna go.
I'm starting to hate these big bulky thumbnail frames. I'm looking through the attacks I've gotten in past years and I can get a glimpse in the very center and yeah, I get it, fun tease, but I could do without the big annoying frame after seeing it in every single thumbnail. Can we make some thinner ones maybe?

It's the drama of courtly intrigue! It's conspiracy and shady goings on behind the curtain! It's very thematically tasty and it's a PERFECT addition on a year that's this focused on the aesthetics of theater and masks

What's up with the katamari fandom having such a Strong presence on af my katamari oc has been the most consistently attacked on my whole profile since '21. Not a complaint but damn !!
The reason why I’m not too open to making a ton of friends through Art Fight is because I’ve noticed a pattern of people just bulldozing me in conversations once I do actually open up that line of communication (e.g. discord DMs). I’ve had so many people send me a friend request, and when I accept it they just blabber about their own characters nonstop. The conversation is one-sided where I’m essentially just used as a lore dump where they only want to talk about their own OCs, and any mention of my own gets ignored or immediately redirected towards theirs. If I engage with your OCs and have the courtesy to listen and comment about the personality, designs, lore, etc that you tell me, I expect the same respect be given to me in turn. Don’t seek me out just to use me as your personal lore document. I understand being excited and wanting to share your creations with others, but it comes off as incredibly self-centered to ONLY want to talk about YOUR art and OCs and nobody else’s. Don’t expect our conversations to last or for me to reply as fast, if at all, if you do.
Now, that isn’t to say friendships can’t be formed through Art Fight—I met several people last year who were absolutely wonderful. Their art is stunning, and best of all there’s mutual interest and engagement when it comes to our OCs. It’s just they’re a rarity in my experience. Overall, I’ve started keeping my Art Fight and overall friend circle smaller as a result.
Several of my characters use She/Her. All of those characters are flat chested. Flat as a board. No breasts. This is stated in their permissions.
However, every year there's at least someone who draws them with breasts. And I just have to ask, why would you do that? You cannot fathom the fact that women can be flat chested? There's clearly no indication of them on the reference sheet, so why would you do that?
I have had enough of this, and for 2026 I have written in my permissions that if you draw my flat chested characters with breasts, I will ask you to fix it and if you refuse you will be reported.
Would this be a dick move? I'm just tired and every year I get a little more sad. It's written on their references and it's written in their permissions.
