Lovely little feature about Swimming With Men on The One Show on BBC One tonight (which also featured Mark Gatiss). Frustratingly glimpses of Rupert during the behind the scenes shots were hard to come by with the above probably being the best.

Hello again!

Rupert’s birthday on June 30th is now only 5 weeks away so it’s time to tell you all the details for this year’s collective contribution!

As before the plan is for (hopefully a good number of) Rupert’s fans to club together and donate to charity as a birthday present to show him our appreciation. Previously we’ve focused on smaller, local charities but this year, with so much happening on an international scale, the charity that was suggested is TheirWorld, “a global children’s charity committed to giving the most vulnerable children and young people a brighter future in their world”.

TheirWorld were benificiaries of the concert held last year in honour of Sir Nicholas Winton that Rupert gave a reading at and we all know children’s welfare is something Rupert cares very much about.

There will be a fanworks charity auction again (more details on that to follow in a separate post) but if you’re not saving your pennies to make a winning bid in that and just want to go straight to giving Rupert his pressie then please…
