❝ Agreed, ❞ Charlie muses, smiling as she steps out and onto the sandy shores for herself. This time she has the sense to take her boots off, tying their laces together in an easy bow and tossing them around her shoulders to prevent any sand from ruining them. Her socks go, too, tucked safely into her boots. With the low light, the sand was thankfully cooled down enough that she didn't have to do any toe tapping from burning her feet.

One long, deep breath in and one slow breath out is her first relishing of the beach. Charlie drops one hand to her hip, the other held over her eyes to shield from the remaining sunlight as she watches it dance along the blue waters. There's a moment of silent thought before she says anything else.

Said information was essentially background noise for him, easily ignored as he started a recording to catch the sun as it slowly made it's way below the horizon. The sight was one definitely worth keeping in his memory banks. The number of times he'd been able to enjoy a sunset, let alone one featured on a beach was an astounding zero. That was going to change from here on out. No one had to know this was going to be his new sulking spot, not that anyone would bother to hunt him down if was MIA for a few hours. Well, maybe Bee would. But as long as he was back before curfew there was hardly anything for him to worry about.

The soft spoken question was almost missed, had he not noticed the popup on his HUD that flagged the mention of his home planet. It was a loaded question, but one he didn't mind answering. "Heh, where do I even begin...It was...y'know alot like Earth except everything was just bigger, way more metal and less water."

The PA system built into his Police Alt form sure came in handy when his charges were on opposing ends of the compound. But in a house full of speedsters they were never far away from each other.

"Yeah I'm staying!" With the bottomless pit he sometimes referred to as his tank, Smokescreen was hardly one to ever turn down fuel. Not to mention after getting used to living off of rations for so long, he'd be a fool to ever turn down the chance for Energon. He already knew what it was like to go without, and was more than happy to never experience that again.
