So,
Story time.
My older sister britni was struck by a speeding vehicle while crossing the street,
She is currently in SICU with severe brain trauma, facial and cranial fractures, and several breaks and fractures to her collarbone and pelvis alongside many other lacerations. Alongside this is also facial trauma and a lot of swelling, including brain swelling that required a flap of her skull to be removed. As of right now, the skull flap is still out.
I have spent the last 3 days by her side, watching her breathe through a machine and be fed through a tube.
Today, she went into surgery for her collarbone and pelvis. The pressure bolt was also removed from her head. She’s stable,
But ultimately unresponsive. She hears but doesn’t process it, cannot respond to direction, and doesn’t focus her eyes on things. Just stares, empty.
She does not have insurance, and every penny of donations goes directly to her. This gofundme was created by her friend who will post regular updates on how she’s doing, and visit her every day.
Britni is my sister, and 29 years old. She has made mistakes in her life but this horrible accident wasn’t her fault in the slightest.
The person who hit her was speeding. The driver stayed behind, with the vehicle when the police and ems showed up. The two passengers fled.
That’s all i know about the cause.
I want my sister to live but I also want to be sure she isn’t going to drown in debt from hospital expenses when she’s recovered. I want to make sure she can continue recovery without the fear and anxiety of tens if thousands of dollars debt because of a situation that she couldn’t control.
Again,
All of this money goes to my sister. I am not connected to the gofundme personally, it is hosted by her best friend. If you donate and want updates, our mother is also in direct contact with her doctors, so I can give updates when we hear something.

A few people have asked if they potentially could become moderator on this blog, and, i will be honest with you all, this blog could use more than one neuron.
If you want to become mod, just send me a message, along with your discord id ! <3
So, not really an ask about how something works but ,how do the mods feel opinions about SCP-#2222?
Honestly? Easily in my top ten favorites. Everything about that skip in particular was very interesting to me, and it captured my attention early on. The fact that it has audio logs is pretty neat to me as well, even if the audio itself could be.. better? But I suppose that the people who made the skip are writers, not voice actors, heh, so I can’t blame them for not having spot on acting.
It’s got my +1, and I’d like to read it again sometime soon since you reminded me of it!

what are your thoughts on the whole 'Berrylium Bronze' thing? At the bottom of 73's page it says they figured out his arms are made of berrylium bronze, and that it's the same type of metal used in a lot of other SCPs. any connection or something that you can think of? Curious to hear your thoughts on it.
Well, there could be a very easy answer to this question, as beryllium bronze is merely a fancier name for beryllium copper, an alloy we usein real life !
Forthe sake of clarity, we will call the real life alloy BCopper, andthe Foundation’s version BBronze.
PlainBCopper has many fascinating properties, thanks mostly to theincorporation of the versatile element beryllium, from which it getsit’s name :
Itis pliable, but not brittle, it is able to be welded and workedthrough machines.
Itis resistant to some types of acids (notably the famous hydrochloricacid, which is used to contain SCP-682).
Itis resistant to abrasion and galling.
Itis non sparkling
Itis nonmagnetic.
Ithas a high potential for electrical conductivity.
Itis very strong, in fact, it is the strongest of all copper basedalloys.
Itcan conduct and resist heat quite efficiently.
Itis to note that alone, beryllium also includes a highly efficientsound conductivity in it’s physical properties.
Nowlet us see the properties of BBronze that can be noticed in the files containing mentions of thealloy :
Soundconductivity : SCP-1216 uses the sound created by the impactbetween two solid spheres of BBronze to communicate
Stabilisationof surrounding temperatures : many of the foundation’s entitiesthat contain BBronze in their files appear to have mentionsof very stable temperatures : SCP-1216-2 is heated to a constanttemperature of 26°C, which might be partially or fully regulated bythe BBronze spheres that SCP-1216 instances processes whileSCP-2481’s constant temperatures at 35°C might be caused by thepresence of  SCP-2481-2.
Extremeresistance to heat : While SCP-2481-1 was severely damaged andmelted by intense heat, SCP-2481-2, which is the BBronze partof the entity, has not been affected by those very high temperatures.
Someother, unknown properties concerning it’s manner of function :(See SCP-2481’s description, and SCP-073’s secrecy about the originsof the alloy.)
Thephysical properties of BBronze areconsistent with the real metal’s properties, however in a moreextreme manner in most cases (stabilization of temperatures in notonly itself, but surrounding areas, and heat being nearly uselessagainst the alloy).
Thereare a few other potential properties that BBronze may have, these are much more hypothetical, as theyare based more on theories about it’s way of functioning rather thanwritten facts :
Potentialabsorption of heat : (see: Stabilisation of surroundingtemperatures)
Potentialabsorption of organic energy : (See: SCP-073’s effects on any nonanimal carbon based life)
Potentiallikeliness to radioactive decay in unknown conditions : (See: SCP-1427-ACR-2: SUMMARY, ARCHAEOLOGICAL REPORT, SCP-1427)
Thereis also the question of the origins of the foundation’s version of BBronze. In real life, BCopper is a recently manufacturedalloy, where as the origins of BBronze are mostlyunknown, it is merely suspected to originate from the middle east. MostBBronze entities are very ancient, in some cases older thanhuman society or suspected to be so.
Inconclusion : Beryllium copper is a metal alloy manufactured inthe real world for it’s impressive physical properties. Beryllium bronze shares these exact properties as well, but shows some othercharacteristics not present in beryllium copper. Beryllium bronze is mostprobably very similar in composition to beryllium copper (which is 0.5% to 3 %beryllium, and sometimes other elements, on a base of copper), butmight go though a different hardening process, or contain another, unknown element that boosts it’s already useful properties, andpotentially adds more to the list.
Theoreticalcompositions for beryllium bronze
Classiccomposition inspired of the strongest BCopper with an unknownhardening process:
2% berylliumÂ
0.3% cobaltÂ
On a base of copper
Theoretical composition with an unknown element and the classic age hardening of BCopper:
3%beryllium
0.9%Â ??? (unknown radioactive element with a highpotential for energy absorption)Â
To celebrate the end of my work on this ask about beryllium bronze, Cain gets a flower [Cast in resin so those pesky particles can’t sneak in and destroy it] !

SCP-1555 is my favorite SCP. But would the rats live though a live firing of the artillery (I would love to help with this one if you want me to)
For this case, we will ignore the weight of the shell the mice are placed in when fired from SCP-1555, as it’s mass is not mentioned anywhere in the wiki.
The muzzle velocity of an M114 155 mm howitzer is 563 meters per second (or 1,847 feet per second). This is our initial speed.
SCP-1555-2 can contain between 5 and 16 mice.
The weight of a field mouse is around 90 grams.
The projectile lands 6 kilometers away from SCP-1555.
SCP-1555-2 ends it’s course onto the ground, so, the end speed is 0.
With these information, we can conclude that:
SCP 1555-2 stays in the air for about 10 second before hitting the ground, since it travels a distance of 6 kilometers at a speed 563 meters per second.
The total weight of SCP-1555-2 should range between 450 and 1440 grams (again, without counting the shell itself), as 90 x 5 = 450 and 90 x 16 = 1440.
With this, we can put the acceleration endured by the projectile at -5.74g.
A human cannot survive an acceleration of more than 5 g. However, i sadly could not find a way to translate this into the weight of a group of mice to find out if they physically could have survived in a plain shell.
SCP-1555′s file does note that the mice are alive after the impact. This means that, even if the acceleration, and the impact itself, should have been enough to kill the mice, it is not the case.
So, if we assume that the impact would kill the mice, it is most likely that the shell contains mesures of protecting it’s tiny passenger, such as airbags and crumple zones.
if abel is gay and cain is a furry, who's driving the car?
To make the context more simple to understand, let us assume that Cain is wearing a fursuit.
Cain’s maneuverability, and his comfort, would be decreased quite a bit while wearing a suit of fluff covering his entire body and head, which would make it difficult to drive a car. Furthermore, anybody who has worn a full suit, or a mask hiding their eyes can tell you that the visibility is slightly lowered at best. Driving with a lowered visibility is extremely dangerous. Considering Cain’s cautious nature, it is most likely that he would not be driving a car in these conditions. But there is more:
The most important factor is heat. Temperatures in a car climb up very fast and very hot, due to greenhouse effect, and a fursuit would trap even more heat. Since we are in summer, the rising heat in the car would make being in a fursuit nearly unbearable, making it impossible to drive.
And so Abel would probably be the driver in this scenario.
I have yet to truly understand the true effect of gay on a man’s maneuverability and capacity to drive, so i would say that this factor wouldn’t cause much harm.. I do, however, have more than a few doubts about an early Sumerian undead tyrant’s ability to drive a car properly.
I am done editing the basics !Â
You can go ahead and send questions, suggestions, or ideas !
