Cackling abt Brittany’s dad being like, “yeah that no crying in baseball rule only applies when it’s not a girl getting them out, otherwise they cry like big old babies”
Heard this and immediately ran to shout it at my friends.

Is it weird that I kinda want to know what Brittany Apgar's APGAR score was? Like can we ask her mom next game?
I think of this nearly every time I hear her name. I’m excited for the day when I hear Apgar and think of the baseball player first.
genuinely no excuse not to have phonetic pronunciations written out for these announcers like jesus christ
Or have the players record their names at speed and slower like they did for the Olympics. It was helpful for everyone and shouldn’t add too much to a media day or editing team.
back on my bullshit (making new pride versions of logos) but make it baseball
I hope they a pride theme night next season (if not this season).
i know everyone is excited to just have a league but damn

Denae Benites becomes the first WPBL catcher to throw out a base stealer, despite some incredible acrobatics from Denver Bryant.
Fuck marry kill: WPBL edition except I marry all of them and kill anyone who tries to stop me
get me to god's country (springfield, illinois)
Just got home from there and already want to go back.
Playing on the name "Queen of the Diamond" I had LA Queens players sign cards from the diamond suit!
Queen: Ayami Sato (#18)
Jack: Maggie Foxx (#11)
Ace: Meggie Meidlinger (#13)
Seven: Amira Hondras (#7)
Ten: Isabella Villarreal (#10)
Brilliant idea.
welcome all baseball newbies to extra innings 🥰

her smile...
My household now shouts it out whenever it happens. Fun little side game.
Hi I've decided I'm the biggest Denver Bryant fan ever actually 💚💛🤍
Great player to watch.
THERE'S VERSATILITY IN THE WPBL BECAUSE THERE IS NOT YET ENOUGH INVESTMENT IN WOMEN'S BASEBALL TO ALLOW SPECIALIZATION but yeah they are crazy incredible athletes
So true. We can appreciate the athleticism they display while also recognizing the faults of the system they grew up with and are functioning in.

Denae Benites goes fully airborne to snag a wild pitch in the New York Heights' 13-8 win over the San Francisco Firebells
I was there. It was amazing and so unexpected.
one thing that both sucks and is awesome about women's baseball is you will see more two-way players than you've ever fathomed in your life. sucks because it's very much a product of lack of support or allowance of dedication to a specific role since there's virtully no infrastructure for the sport so girls are expected to play wherever theyre sent, but it's also awesome because you get to see so many classically all-around players capable of incredible athletic performance on literally every part of the field. like we are going to see a lot of foregoing of thr designated hitter because most of these pitchers are incredible on offense too
