Newbie Baseball Person

Look I’m new to baseball. I don’t know a good announcer from a bad announcer, honest. But it kinda seems to me that probably there aren’t a whole lot of women commentating pro baseball in general, because, you know, sexism. And the ones who are commentating pro baseball (which was MLB or bust for the last 70 years up til now from my understanding) are probably loath to give up their hard-won spot in the MLB to jump over to a new foray into pro sports that may or may not continue to be a thing. So what I’m saying is, hey, maybe let the female commentators we do have get a feel for things because they haven’t done this at this level of scrutiny ever where they’re on national television. They also don’t have the benefit of previous knowledge of these players from previous seasons because there are no previous seasons. They don’t have a lot of stats to reference because before literally a week ago THERE WERE NO STATS.

I’m pretty sure it isn’t as much as the men get (because it never is) but my face when I came off of this game and saw that I get three more weeks of women playing baseball was just
