mcu steve rogers had it too good for a minute. an anti fascist anti establishment fugitive who ran around w his friends w a borderline romantic (but shhhh they haven’t admitted it yet) relationship w his best friend who broke thru 70 years of brainwashing for true love. he dropped the American flag bc it didn’t fit his purpose anymore, he built a new path for himself, and the future had become his present. so OF COURSE they had to punish us by sending him back to the 1950s (epitome of traditional values) for a woman he kissed once and OF COURSE they’re bringing him back and giving him a BABY!!!

APPARENTLY, Chris Evans is returning as Steve Rogers in Avengers Doomsday, despite the fact that he has been denying that he will ever return as Captain America/Steve Rogers for 5 years now. There's a teaser trailer at the beginning of Avatar fire and please end this (or whatever the hell it's called), and it apparently leaked online. I thought it looked like AI slop fan vid, but it's apparently real and it depicts him with a baby, cementing the character assassination ending in Endgame.

As one of the other trailers is supposed to feature Thor praying to Odin to protect his daughter, I'm guessing the baby is actually Thor's kid dropped off for Steve to protect somehow.

Thor's daughter was introduced in Love & Thunder, she's like a tween. The baby is Steve's, unfortunately.

Counterpoint: the baby is actually Yelena shrunk down to baby size by alien shrink ray. Bob got so nervous that Yelena was a baby that he accidentally made Steve appear through a portal. Hijinks ensue!
