Currently watching: The Horne Section TV Show with my niece. Probably my fifth watch through because I show it to so many people. Still finding new things in the background and take notes for gifs/clips. Love these men. (shameless self promote, go check out my THS sideblog @six-absolute-helmets )

Currently reading: ngl when i get the rare time to read it's usually just rereading @eerieflavour and @sharingsweaters's fics

Current obsession: Ed Sheldrake, and The Horne Section as a whole. but good golly every day my love for this tired pointy teeth man grows.

Currently working on: Too many things. Two digital draws, one of Greg/Alex (a weird crossover), and Ed/Alex (cute). (backlog of like five WIP draws) Three fics, Ed/Alex (angst), LAH clones (gruesome) and Greg/Alex (smut). FUCK PISS BOMB painting. Mutilating a giant rubber duck. Ripping THS songs for SombraDusk's master drive. gifs.

In the hospital, Neil would hold onto his mother’s arm just to feel close to someone and when he returned to Welton, some nights he could only fall asleep if Todd sat next to his bed so Neil could hold onto him.

(he would also often find himself asking if he could sleep in Todd’s bed because he felt lonely)

When classes started back, Neil worked extra hard because he didn’t want to disappoint his teachers, but still he lacked the energy to do so.

Charlie still would’ve been kicked out but would come to meetings in the cave (sometimes with Ginny which ofc meant Chris could come as well)

Meeks and Pitts let Neil use their radio, anything to get him smiling.

Knox would feel uncomfortable and awkward about the situation so he would do what he could which was mainly reassuring pats on the back and constantly asking Neil how he’s doing.

While the rest of the poets would’ve had a rift with Cameron, Neil would still sit with him in classes and meals because he forgave him (I mean ofc he did)

And Todd had almost switched roles with Neil. Making sure he was involved in the meetings so he kept his sense of self. Became more confident and encouraged Neil to do the same.

He would also make sure Neil kept up healthy habits; making sure he finished his meals, didn’t overwork himself, got to sleep early.

Of course Neil slowly became more himself again after a while. It just took him some time to gain back his energy and enthusiasm as he just generally felt very regretful and weak.
