I imagine a guided tour, the coffee ride kind, with a bunch of older ladies, bored of being freed of responsibilities for once. And I imagine a guide, desperately trying to keep them entertained. I stay obsessed with the idea of something being slowly dragged under someone’s nose. A long feather? A cat’s tail? Maybe a blossoming plant teeming with pollen? as much as we all love wet sneezes (and i do share in that love) i do quite enjoy dry sneezes that are just air. like, the kind of sneeze where rather than a "sh-" or a "tsh-" or even a "ch-" it's just an "h-" sound doing the heavy lifting. some cough sneezes are just plain nice, admittedly, but in this case i'm referring to sneezes that still sound like a full sneeze, there's no real teeth or tongue involved.

that kind of thing. they tend to sound just as, if not more intense than other sneezes, just by virtue of the fact that it's just all that air coming out all at once, and the only vocalization is essentially just yelling. it's hard to describe. i just know i like it when i hear it.

Someone whose cold is NOT going to keep them from being absolutely FURIOUS and making sure that EVERYONE knows it.

Stomping through their drafty domicile with a blanket hung over their shoulders, mumbling and scheming about how they are going to make their enemy pay.

Glaring at anyone who gets in their way, and people move — not necessarily because they are scared of them, but because they feel a bit sorry for them. Or perhaps they don’t want to get sick themselves.

Of course, at one point, they do run out of energy, and they collapse onto the nearest piece of furniture (or perhaps the floor). Hopefully, someone will come along to collect them and usher them to bed.

A little summer scenario.

Someone sitting by the pool. Maybe relaxing after a swim.

Their nose tickles, a soft prickling sensation, and they rub at it a few times but there's no relief from the itchy feeling.

The first sneeze is rather soft, lightly jerking them forward into their hands.

They feel their nostrils flare strongly as they rub at the nose and they try not to bring attention towards themselves as their breath hitches.

The next couple of sneezes that follows are sharper, folding them over. They start to look for tissues, but can only find their towel and they lift that towards their face as another build up takes over their entire facial expression.

They snap forward again, and again. The rough sneezes are echoing over the pool area as they aggressively let out the next sneeze into the towel.
