I really wish there were ways for people to be anonymous with payments, but honestly , no matter how you pay, whatever name you have associated with the payment method will show up for me. like, even if you just paid through kofi or smth with your screenname, it'll come through as a payment with your paypal/bank name depending on how you paid.

the only way I know of would possibly be to do it by paypal donations/sending money (actually does that still show your name? or just email? I don't even know;; 😆) BUT I wouldn't do it this way anyway, bc it's less protection for you as a buyer & I prefer to do invoices for tax reasons.

is it possible to create a fully separate email with a pseudonym & make a paypal acc for that? I feel like if I wanted to be fully anon, that would be my go to if it works (bc I srsly don't know what else;; haha)

but if your concern is me seeing your name (bc you'd just prefer not to have anyone know any personal info, which I understand for sure) I can only tell you that I've done hundreds of comms at this point & I couldn't tell you anyone's name if you paid me 😂 plus I'd never give any info out bc well, I'm not like that, & also I'm pretty sure it's illegal;;

otherwise if the concern is more so having the payment showing up on your acc, I'm at a loss unfortunately;;

sooooo I just bought ur rain/sick manga (cant WAIT to read it) and I was wondering if there was a way to indicate how much you'll be paying in your own currency? the manga itself is $11 i think, and it indicated i paid the total ($12 something)....but I saw no indication that this amount was in USD.

as for currency, hmm I wasn't sure how gumroad functioned in regards to conversion etc, so I had a look to see if it did for me, so I actually went to my comic to check;

so it does appear to convert, but maybe this isn't the case for all currencies? did you pay with paypal? Usually when I pay, it'll tell me in the paypal window how much I'll be paying in my currency before I commit.

otherwise I'm not really sure hun >: I'm sorry!! I know how it feels to get jumpscared with USD at times;; but for future ref, I usually do all my prices in usd 🙏

Kinda new to your blog, but I’m in love with your snz art, which is what I wanted to ask you about! What app do you use to create (Yk, ibis, Procreate, etc)? I’m a traditional artist trying to get into drawing digitally.

heyy! sorry for the late response!!! & tysm 🥹!! welcome!! So I use clip studio paint for pretty much everything! I draw pretty much exclusively on my pc though, & while you have the option to do one-off payments for the program on desktop, you do have to pay a subscription to use CSP on ipad.

so if you want a free option, procreate is up there for sure. I'm not sure what other apps ppl are using these days. I have used medibang on ipad though which I quite liked too. but yh! it's a learning curve for sure going to digital, so actually procreate might be best to start with since they tend to have more "realistic" artist tool based brushes?

fucked around with some vocal effects till it sounded a bit like al/astor's radio filter

added some static/radio tuning sound effects

balanced out the volume of a couple things
