My hottest fanfiction take is I think people should stop posting multi-fandom oneshots as a single fic with like 50+ chapters and instead post them as individual fics

i know folks are gonna call me a pedo for this one, but i grew up seeing my mom and grandma naked. they had health issues and at times needed care and help showering. and i truly think more kids need to be shown the nonsexual reality of naked women at a young age. there is nothing sexual about my grandmothers breasts, they were simply body parts. more women die of heart attacks because people are too afraid of breasts to do real chest compressions, because they are scared to touch their breasts. the sexualization of our bodies literally kills us. i need people to be more normal about naked bodies and i'm 100% serious.

i dunno i honestly think "being transgender" is at least half a dozen distinct phenomena that only happen to resemble eachother because of broader societal constructs about sex and gender.

After some years of HRT I've been left with this deep, low simmering rage. Because what do you mean it was always this easy to be happy

And if anyone comes swinging in here with "but Sierra you don't have to take HRT to be trans this is toxic" I'm going to fucking scream, because that is the status quo. "Just do this without doing this" has become a "give them an inch" refrain when making ourselves "acceptable" to the cis. Of COURSE you don't need to take HRT. I'm only reminded of it a dozen times a day.

We need to learn from this. It's time for Beijing bikini summer.

Every time I see this I have to say whoever wrote that 膀爷 means exposing oneself like a grandfather does not actually know enough Chinese to be making these claims. It just means bare chested man, 爷 can mean grandfather but in this context it just is a term of address for a man, and in the Beijing context it’s a familiar colloquial way to address a man (see also 京爷).

my favorite homophobic lenin anecdote is him sympathetically telling chicherin to take a break to cure his homosexuality and chicherin happily agreed because who would reject a boss giving you a free vacation and then chicherin returned to work he was like 'sorry, it didn't work :(' and lenin was like 'ok then'.

As far as I can tell from minimal googling, this isn't real (if it's talking about Georgy Chicherin and Vladimir Lenin, at least), I can at least say Chicherin was gay tho. If someone can find more information, make sure to tell me.

it is true (according to chicherins cousin) that lenin made such proposition but the memory got the best of me when i wrote this post because in reality chicherin politely rejected the offer due to too much work nominally😅 but i don't regret this half a lie my scenario is definitely funnier.

when people defend the “Cis white guy is default” thing like “He’s meant to be an everyman we can all relate to and project on!” kindly remind them the largest ethnic group in the WORLD is Han Chinese and the highest gender percentage fluctuates so if you want an ACTUAL  “default” you want a 40 year old chinese person whose gender changes from year to year.
