My best example will probably always be: every year I get freaking huge thistles across my garden bed and every year just when they reach around 1,5-1,7m tall (but haven't bloomed yet) I'll suddenly have a bunch of caterpillars eating them up. Along with a few other types of caterpillars that eat of my other plants. And while some of those other plants were originally meant for me as different leaf options for sallads, I have realised that I don't harvest as often as I thought I would so now it's mostly for the caterpillars and the flowers those other plants have were always for the pollinators anyway. And I always get a bunch of butterflies.
I let my garden grow more "wild". Sort of like it's a wild meadow and that I'm simply growing some berries, garlics, root veggies and a few herbs in various parts of the meadow. In the end some parts of that meadow just happens to be edible for both me and whatever lives in the garden, if I actually feel like harvesting anything at any point.

when applied to drinks, "dry" means "without sugar". therefore it follows that sugary drinks can be called "wet". the meanings of the terms "hot" and "cold" when applied to drinks are obvious. thus the aspect of any drink can be determined.
for instance, green tea, freshly steeped and served without additives, is hot and dry, and therefore has an aspect of fire.
a mocha, on the other hand, while hot, is sweet, and therefore wet, and thus has an an aspect of air.
lemonade, which is wet and cold, has a water aspect.
finally, the drink which most epitomizes the earth aspect, being both cold and dry, is vodka
In the 1700s, blood transfusion was used to treat psychosis. Oddly, sometimes it worked.
So a question for my followers: Give your best guess as to why this could have worked without looking it up.

Answer: A particularly common form of psychosis occurred in the final stage of infection with syphilis. Syphilis is an uncommon bacteria in that is is extremely sensitive to temperature- so sensitive that a high fever greatly reduced or even eliminated infection with the bacteria. In fact, once quinine became available to treat malaria, which caused repeated high fevers, intentional infection with malaria was used to cure syphilis, which would then be treated with quinine. But in the 1700s, they (Europeans, at least) didn't have quinine yet.
So how did a blood transfusion treat syphilis? Well, in the 1700s, blood transfusions were not done with human blood- they were done with animal blood, usually lamb or calf blood. Since biblically calf or lamb blood was pure and contributed to the sweet nature of the animals, it was thought that if given to someone who was experiencing paranoia and hallucinations, the psychotic symptoms would decrease. This was not the case.
The amounts were usually small enough that the person didn't die. But it did cause frequent transfusion reactions. These reactions frequently caused high fevers, which treated the syphilis and helped decrease the symptoms caused by it.
