In retrospect, a surprising addition to the 2005 film Constantine was an appearance by IRL model turned bounty hunter Domino Harvey (the woman on the right) as part of a sapphic angel/demon couple in Papa Midnite's club when Keanu's titular Constantine visits the place.
Sadly Domino would pass away of a drug overdose at the age of 35 several months after the release of Constantine, and several months before Keira Knightley portrayed her in a (sadly apparently not very good) biopic based on her life.
It's... certainly a very mid-2000s action movie.

i get so emotional every time i think about fanfic culture. it's just so beautiful that people are writing and anonymously posting these thousand-word stories about characters we all love and not even getting any money or public fame from it. it's literally just for the love of the game.
shout out to everyone who participates in fanfic culture, be it reading or writing fanfics. you are contributing to such a lovely thing <3
writing tip: put words on page. hope this helps. i will not be taking questions because i have not done this
one person's "ugghh this trope is so overdone" is another person's "oooooohohohohohohohoho"

AO3 Writer Affirmations:
I do not have to reinvent the wheel every time I write fanfiction
I do not have to make every chapter's word count above 1,000 in order for it to be good
It is okay if some things don't make sense
I can write whatever I want
I am writing this shit for free
If people don't like my stuff, they can block me. If they're being mean about it, I can block them.
The most important part of writing fanfiction is having fun
Writing fanfiction is supposed to be fun
I do not have to appeal to people
This shit is fun
I am doing this all for free, and anyone who objects can go eat wet sand and worms from the sidewalk

A pride flag was one of the quilting projects I really wanted to get done, and it works great as a scraps buster.
This is roughly 40 by 65 centimetres (about 16 by 26 inches) and quilted in the ditch with thin cotton batting. I wish I'd used rainbow thread for the quilting, but I didn't have any on hand, and the goal was to not buy any new materials.
Under the cut: diagram and process.

Podfic is the ultimate portmanteau btw
Okay, so when I saw this, I was like, "The 'i' stands for 'internet'??" because I remember back when the iMac—the first of Apple's 'i' products—launched, and my impression was that the 'i' was more about the individual: I, me.
So I got curious and went down a little rabbit hole. Most unofficial sources say that, yeah, the 'i' was for internet, but again, that doesn't have the Apple vibes I remember from back then. Long before the iMac, there was the famous 1984 Apple commercial directed by Ridley Scott that ran during the US Super Bowl, which was all about individuality/breaking the mold/etc.
Anyway, I found this post from 2011 on the Apple community forum:
And I felt like that list of multiple meanings seemed more on-brand. Plus, user danielpena mentioned a specific keynote speech, which made it easy enough to look up. I found the transcript and video of the full keynote, and took a screenshot of the slide mentioned above:
So yeah, the 'i' does stand for 'internet,' but it was also meant to stand for 'individual,' 'instruct,' 'inform,' and 'inspire.' Congratulations, everyone is right! 😂
The only Apple product I've ever owned was an iPod, and I'm the farthest thing from an Apple fanboy that you can be, so this was all new info to me!
