Eliza hated running. She wasn’t really sure why she agreed to train when she wasn’t quite good at training herself. However, she was happy to help where she could in the Order and being a nurse there wasn’t always work. On her downtime, she needed something to do, and it was a perfect disguise: two friends running in the park. She was excited, though, to be working with a newer recruit, starting her on a training regimen that she herself was still only getting used to.
When she saw Simone round the corner, Eliza’s smile widened and she waved, running up to her. “You look so cute,” she said, shaking her head. “I have no idea how you do it. Whenever I put on yoga pants I look like I just rolled out of bed and had to fight a monster.” A laugh escaped her lips as she crossed her arms. “So, uh, are you ready to get started? I know the running is my least favorite part of this regimen so I like to do it first. Get it over with, y’know? We’ll start with a mile a day and once you’re used to it we’ll work our way up.”
When Simone joined the Order the thought of training hadn’t even crossed her mind, but once it was mentioned she couldn’t find it in herself to be surprised. It made sense that they would want their members to be in top shape. And while she was normally quite active on her own her routine had slipped in the recent weeks. Having a new scheduled regimen that she knew she had to stick to would most likely be good for her. Plus, through training she would also be able to get better acquainted with other members of the Order and socializing had always been something that renewed her spirit when she was down.Â
Making her way through the park she had been told to go to, Simone glanced up at the sound of Eliza’s voice and smiled at the other girl. Out of all the other members she had met and spoken with, Eliza seemed like the nicest so far. She had welcomed her easily, and she was one that Simone wasn’t worried looked at her differently for coming from a prominent pureblood family. “I don’t know if it’s actually possible to look cute in yoga pants, but if I do I’m sure it’s the brand and nothing to actually do with me.” After a small laugh, Simone smiled again then nodded. “I get that. I don’t know many people that like running honestly. But I’m as ready as I’m going to get, so we might as well go. Which direction are we starting in?”Â
