Talking about something everyone knows about. Him almost KILLING Rihanna.

In February of 2009 Chris Brown and Rihanna were arguing in the car. Mind drive, Rihanna slapped Chris. Obviously, if you get slapped you can defend herself. However after he punched her he stopped driving and began to beat her to a pulp. Almost killing her.

What is self defense? The legal right and physical action of protecting your health, well-being, or property from harm. The physical force you use must match the severity of the threat you are facing.

His first punch/hit would have probably fallen under self-defense. However, he kept beating and choking her until she was near unconsciousness. That did NOT match the severity of the threat he was facing. She was wrong for slapping him but he had no right to almost kill her. Rihanna personally forgave Chris for her own peace of mind. Rihanna realized her intense anger toward him was intertwined with unresolved resentment toward her own father, who had been abusive to her mother. She did that to clear her mind so she didn’t keep reliving the trauma. Plus, he was her first love and she felt protective over him.

In June of 2013 he shoved a woman in the club making her fall to the ground. That fall tore up the ligaments in her knees and she needed medical attention.

In November of 2013 he smashed his mother’s car and further violent behaviour resulting in him being kicked out of rehab. May of 2014 he served prison time for this.

January of 2016 in the club again, he was accused of punching a woman in the face and taking her phone because she was trying to take a picture with/of him. Being upset about that is fine, but allegedly assaulting people is not okay. He was not charged due to the lack of evidence, but it is still a major accusation against him.

In May 2016 he had a drug fuelled outburst towards his tour manager. She felt so unsafe that she quit the job. By law that is considered unprofessional misconduct, and if it involves shouting, profanity, or threats, it can cross the line into verbal or psychological abuse.

In August of 2016 he threatened a woman with a deadly weapon. That got him arrested.

In February of 2017 Chris and several crew members were sued by a woman after committing sexual battery, assault and rape at a party in his home. That same month his ex Karrueche Tran had to file a no contact order after he repeatedly harassed, punched and threatened her and her friends safety. In August that said restraining order had to be put in place for 5 years.

In May of 2018 he was once again sued by a woman after he’d sexually assaulted her in his home at a party.

In January of 2019 he was arrested in Paris on drugging and rape charges.

During December of 2020 he was AGAIN accused of rape and drugging at a New Year’s party on Diddy’s yacht in Miami. He is actually very close friends with Puff Diddy.

In June of 2021 there were reports of domestic violence where he smacked a woman across the head so hard her wig came off.

July of 2024 he was facing a lawsuit over him and his crew brutally and severely beating four men back stage in an unprovoked attack. The security guard who was present was also injured trying to break up the fight and pressed charges as a result.

That is all I currently know of and have researched. There could be a bunch more.
