These are five different iterations of the “Evil Kermit” meme found on the web. The five different characters illustrate the versatility of the meme across different universes; The muppets, real life as told by humans and animals, and Sonic, the video game.

This is the “evil Kermit” meme, it is meant to portray the “good” and “evil” sides of someones mind. It is often coupled with funny but dark thoughts that people don't like to share openly, and therefor use the meme to remain anonymous. There is always at least one character (Kermit, the dog, etc.) in a hood giving terrible advice to the other. Many of its iterations are thought to be highly relatable, hence its popularity.
