Anarcha Westcott was a young Black girl enslaved in Alabama. After a traumatic childbirth, she developed vaginal and rectal fistulas, a condition that left her in constant pain and shame.

Instead of receiving care, she was experimented on over 30 times by Dr. J. Marion Sims, who operated on her without anesthesia. He used her body to develop a surgery that would later be used to treat white women, with pain relief, dignity, and consent.

Anarcha didn’t agree to any of it. She wasn’t a patient. She was a victim of medical violence.

AI industry groups are urging an appeals court to block what they say is the largest copyright class action ever certified. They’ve warned that a single lawsuit raised by three authors over Anthropic’s AI training now threatens to “financially ruin” the entire AI industry if up to 7 million claimants end up joining the litigation and forcing a settlement.

Anyway, she was super fucking homophobic and abusive to me when I told her I was gay, so here’s the recipe

4-6 lbs of Hamburger/turkey burger

1 pk onion soup mix OR ranch mix

1 TBs ketchup

1 Tbs spicy brown mustard,

1 Tbs bbq sauce

1 Tbs steak sauce

1 egg

mix, shape into a loaf in a big pan, and bake at 350 for 2 hrs (maybe 2 and a half if you’re feeling dangerous)

(6 servings)

-2lbs red potatoes

-1 cup butter (2 sticks)

-1 cup cream cheese (1 pack)

-Chives (optional)

-Salt & Pepper to taste

1. drop those bad boys (potatoes) in a big ol pot. U don’t even have to chop them just wash them

2. boil til soft!

3. Drain

4. Mash (usually they’re small enough you can use a fork if u don’t have one of those squashers) until its a pretty chunky mix

5. add the other stuff. Keep mashing

I want to be a space people can come to for rest. To indulge and fantasize and recuperate, and for a few moments in a long life, often harsh life, be comfortable.

If you hate, judge or wish harm upon someone for their religion, gender, sexual identity, race, fantasies, disabilities, or anything else that is a mark of their Identity and Reality of which they have little or no control over -

Then get the FUCK off my blog.

If you segregate Jewish people into “good” and “bad” categories for any reason - get the fuck off my blog.

If you think certain sexualities or genders aren’t valid because they don’t make sense to you and you bully people for it - get the fuck off my blog.

If you think religion or bigotry are valid reasons to harass and harm whole groups of people - get the fuck off my blog.

If you think the fuck ass decisions of any government are reason enough to abandon or terrorize its citizens - GET THE FUCK OFF MY BLOG.

If you think “man, I really looked up to Quin, what’s all this bullshit?” Then maybe take a breath to sit and chew on that for a minute. Consider why I have lost your esteem because I’m tired of people making vast assumptions about whole groups of people to ease the burden of complex compassion within their own hearts.

Or worse, to hide behind their own insecurities and flaws by insisting some group is beneath them and therefore an acceptable target of their hollow indignation and “valid” anger.

People are wide, wild, varied and beautiful - there is no term, no ideal, no concept, no label or bit of knowledge that is monolithic across all eight billion of us.

There is no one who can know another well enough to decide if they are worthy of harm.
