After theyre free and can take a bit of a breather, ya know how theres typically a 'We must give our princesses an update where weve been/whats happening' moment in fics?
While Ravio tries to get to Hilda , what if Shadow goes and reports to Midna?
So Four's placement in the timeline is a bit messy, bc the Four Sword series games are all over the place timeline-wise. However, I'm going based off of the placement of the FSA game, since that's the latest and also doesn't destroy anything in the timeline by placing it there. FSA is post TP, and according to Hyrule Historia, it is several hundred years after it.
Sadly, this means Midna is very much not alive by now.
Shadow is also not a Twili, Twili folk are light dwellers who were banished to the Twilight Realm, and seemingly eventually accepted the magic to become their own folks over the many many (many) years. Meanwhile Shadow is a Shadow/Dark Dweller who, just before his death, accepted the Light.
In TP, Midna describes the Crystal Twilight uses to transform as "definitely different than our tribe's shadow magic" and also as "evil magic". This is the kind of dark magic that Zant was gifted to by Ganondorf. This is also why Shadow's "Twili" Marks on his tunic are red instead of blue.
Anyway tldr; Shadow is several hundred years after Midna, not a Twili, so unfortunately, no Midna đ (I plan to have a vague mention of the Twili folk way later in the story though)
