🌊 My piece for Volume 3 of Sing, O Muse! Across Wine Dark Seas, which covers scenes from the Trojan War and its aftermath. The zine will be available in July and I highly recommend keeping an eye on the account in readiness for its release. There is SO MUCH gorgeous art inside!

I chose to draw the goddess Thetis beseeching Hephaestus to forge armour for her son Achilles. I think the bond between these two is quite lovely, with Hephaestus feeling indebted to Thetis for helping him in his hour of need, and willingly returning the favour.
