Wake up babe, new octopus just dropped

19-year-old Khalil Al Habil's liver and kidneys are failing. Shrapnel damage from the bombardment that killed his baby brother Omar has gone mostly untreated due to a lack of funds and resources. The ill effects of this damage have progressed to the point that the organs are losing their ability to function. Khalil urgently needs 3 rounds of treatment to combat the effects of his deteriorating liver and kidneys.

We've paid off the first round of treatments but Khalil has two treatments that he still needs. The second costs about $1,250 usd, but we haven’t made much progress in more than a month and his condition is getting progressively worse. We need to meet this second goal ASAP!!!

Every day I told myself maybe tomorrow people will stand by me, maybe someone will understand my pain, but unfortunately, I feel like I'm screaming alone.. 💔💔

I've managed to gather a small amount, not even enough to get started, and with each passing day I feel more and more that the world has lost its mercy, that people have no conscience towards someone whose future has been destroyed by circumstances beyond their control.. 💔💔💔

The worst feeling a person can experience is feeling like a beggar… and I never imagined I'd reach that point.

I didn't ask for luxury or a life of extravagance; I'm simply trying to get back to work and live with dignity, thanks to the years of hard work and sacrifice I've made.

The injustice I suffered today… could happen to any of us tomorrow... 💔💔💔

I'm not writing these words to complain… but because we have nothing left. The rain poured into our tent, soaking all our blankets and the meager food we were trying to shelter ourselves with. We are living through incredibly difficult times, known only to God… the cold, the hunger, and the fear for my family. I have an amputated leg, and my mobility is limited, yet I try to protect my family as best I can… but today I feel more helpless than ever. All I want is for my family not to be left out in this rain without shelter.

If you can help or even share my story, please don't hesitate... perhaps my cry will reach a compassionate heart that will be the reason for saving us.

Sometimes I stay silent, not because things got better…

but because I don’t even know how to explain what we’re going through anymore.

Life like this changes you, It makes simple things feel impossible, and every small detail becomes a struggle.
