Amora looked down at her for a moment as she stood there and simply watched the other woman for a moment. She seemed unmoving as the women seemed to speak about best way to remove the coffee stain from her clothing. Her eyebrow quirked at the question. “Why not just destroy it and take another?” Amora asked simply. That was her usual attitude and approach to anything she considered flawed.

    “shit, no, it was on me. got too damn distracted by other things, wasn’t watching where i was going.” and now he’d lost sight of the target he’d been trailing for the past hour or so now. seemed today wasn’t going to be a win – frank would have to track the asshole down all over again and make sure he could get them somewhere quieter. “this is my bad. an’ i really do apologize for that. if i recall right – pretty sure laundry detergent, an’ white vinegar tend to do the trick real good. doubt that’ll help now, though.”

well, well, well… if it wasn’t the cosequences of tommy’s own actions. it was hard to be a speedster in a confined space, the long streets of new york city were the perfect training ground for him: at least until the force of his sudden stop to avoid running full speed into a passerby. his body was still tense as his eyes darted between carol’s face and stained blouse. opening his mouth to apologize, he was quickly cut off by the woman. ❝ uh … my mom used to use cold water and dish soap , ❞ he paused for a moment, ❝ your shirt looks expensive … hope it isn’t ruined forever . ❞

    an  unusual  friendship..  but  one  that  worked.  vision  enjoyed  carol’s  company  more  than  he  could  really  explain,  mostly  because  of  how  easy-going  the  other  was.  “i’m  not  sure.”  he  admits  with  curled  lips,  eyes  locked  onto  the  marks  of  the  cappuccino  before  sighs.  “i  don’t..  need  to  drink  or  eat  -  so  i  honestly  have  no  idea.  perhaps  we  could  ask  someone?”

it had been a mutual collision, clint was trying to get out of there as to not miss his train, but, it seemed that he would anyway. he looks down at his shirt, thankful that it’s a dark plaid and not a lighter colour, he looks over at the woman and grimaces. “i’m sorry, fuck,” he grabs his backpack and digs into it before finding one of the tide to go pens that kate had pushed into his hand after a marinara accident that shall not be named. “here, i hear these help?” he had walked over towards the cashier to order another one of the same drink she had. “promise not to spill it on you this time.”

She always looked where she was going. Really, she did. The one time she looked away, thought she saw something out of the corner of her eye, a flash of someone down the street, into an alleyway, she collided with a woman, spilling hot coffee down her pretty little blouse. “Fuck,” she hissed. “Sorry. That’s why we watch where we’re going, right?” She offered more grimace than smile, but it was something. She’d tried. “Hm. Seltzer? Shout?” (What do you use to get blood out of your clothes, Kate?) “Look, my place is just around the corner. Let me help you clean that up.”
