001. what were they doing when they passed through the portal ?
okay so technically , oliver died during the events of convergence right before he passed through the portal . he doesn’t realize he’s dead nor does he remember . all he remembers is that it was basically the end of the world . he’s under the impression that someone or something transported him out .
002. where are they living ? are they living with anyone ?
he’s still a rich boy so ollie’s managed to secure himself a nice apartment in manhattan . he lives by himself but if any member of team arrow and some members of the justice league need a place to temporarily crash ... he’ll allow it .
003. why is your character affiliated with who they’re affiliated with ?
he remains unaffiliated with shield because honestly ? he doesn’t know much about them . it could be like another argus and he holds his reservations about them . team arrow is basically his family so he trusts them implicitly and of the times he’s worked with the justice league , they’re not too bad so he remains affiliated with them too .
004. who are their major friends, allies, and foes ?
major friends : dinah lance , john diggle , emiko queen , roy harper ( essentially team arrow ) allies : justice league , batman family foes : league of assassins , deathstroke , any enemies of in the above groups
005. whose hands do they believe the country should be in ?
the people who truly want to make a change so uhhh not the government ? he knows they can be bought off and he sure as hell doesn’t trust people who can be bought off .
006. what’s their current mental state at ? their physical state ?
mentally , oliver has some things he needs to work out and deal with on his own . he’s still working through the issues of being stranded on starfish island for some time and the subsequent trauma of becoming the green arrow . physically ? he’s literally in peak human condition . he’s got a rigorous training regimen b/c yes he’s able to do the salmon ladder without breaking too much of a sweat .
NOTABLE CHANGES .
this is purely for my sanity because i’ve only read a couple of the green arrow comics and have watched arrow so my portrayal will be a mix of the two . i’m still trying to figure him out so i will be adding to this section when i think of anything else !
oliver’s parents weren’t dead yet when he gets stranded starfish island . following the show’s canon of him going on a trip w/ his father and he gets stranded at sea before ultimately washing up on starfish island
picked up more survival skills during his time on starfish island , refined his archery and did not date shado :vibe:
ignoring emiko in arrow because ... YEAH SJSJSJ and following emi and ollie’s comic canon but honestly can be discussed if anyone decides to take her up <33
generally ignoring some of the relationships established on the show ( mostly felicity , thea , mia )
the comics mentioned he has a plane called the arrowplane and i am simply keeping that <3
the fact that oliver has just died and been resurrected so many times FJDKLS i’m sticking to him dying in the events of convergence and just as he passed through the portal to this universe , he got resurrected
as mentioned previously , his personality will be taken from the comics ( aka sarcastic , facetious and generally just vibin ) and not from the show <3 we do not need broody oliver besties <33 so yes he was a player and was unfaithful but he’s changed so !!! ( still doesn’t get rights but that part of him has changed SJSJ )
